  1. The only people who "win" are the people who make money through things that the macroers don't do. Macroers only help people get things like the easy skill capes (cooking and fletching) with less expense. I used to fish and cook to make money, but after the price of cooked sharks dropped below 750ea due to the increasing problem of macroers, I realised that fishing sharks just wasn't that great of a money-maker any more. Thankfully, Jagex started to put more emphasis on banning macroers, and so the price of raw sharks has returned to a decent 800-850ea, although I doubt they will ever reach the previous high of 1Kea again. When I last fished, I calculated that at fishing 86 I could get 3-4 lobs in the time I would fish one shark. This wasn't shown in their prices, as raw lobs tended to sell for around 200-250ea, and raw sharks for 450-500ea. This made it impossible to effectively make money with sharks, which meant that lobs gave more money as well as experience for the time involved. Thankfully Jagex has dealt with this problem, and the price of sharks has rebounded, with raw sharks recently being bought for as much as 900ea!
  2. Hopefully if this gets a bit more it can go in the AOW. =D>
  3. That sums it up for me too.
  4. I think they eventually will have a crystal halberd, it will have 70 attack and 50 agility to wield, kind of like the crystal bow.
  5. This wouldn't help miners at all, it would lower the price of everything that they get. It's understandable to have multiple logs/fish per tree/spot because you wc and fish incredibly slowly. The only people I can see with a reason to support this are afkers, because they get quickly bored by repetitive things like mining coal.
  6. This isn't a glitch, you're supposed to be able to see text always as far as I know.
  7. Need I remind you that adding 12 more bank slots wouldn't be some month long project for Jagex to do... They could probably encode 12 more slots in two days, if not one day. It wouldn't take much effort. And just curious... "Improving the Logout features"? Please explain further... Banning autoers is more important than free bank space because many of Jagex's paying customers are concerned about it, and member updates are more important because they bring more people to P2P. It doesn't matter if more free bank space would take Jagex 5 seconds, they will never do it because the lack of bank space pressures people to get more of it by paying Jagex.
  8. Too overpowered...Ice Barrage and Teleblock=insane pvp.
  9. A good idea, but what about skillers?
  10. I support. People trade you many times in busy worlds, and half the time the trade gets canceled. I hate it.
  11. Yeah, I've always wanted to return to Tutorial Island, just to see new people as they make their way through it.
  12. There's already more than enough in F2P to convince people to join members. If you don't join members after you've finished all the F2P quests then you will probably never join members. Why not just make members free? This only leaves 2 or 3 members-only skills, making the separation between F2P and P2P almost non-existent---except for the $5 that we pay. Why should we pay $5 for something that other people are getting for free? Sure.. There are people out there who can't get members due to studies.. and other reasons similar. Those members who think we don't deserve updates should think about it. I am not saying we are poor One of my friends plays Runescape around 5 hours a month. He still pays money for members, even though he has very little time on his hands. As stated many times, Jagex isn't a charity, why should they give you free things because you don't think you play enough to pay for it?
  13. I think everybody has bought something from a macroer/goldfarmer at some time in their Runescape life.
  14. wow every place I look you've posted and its always negative or insulting someone. get a life  Yeah, mjhardyboyz's post is negative, I might even go so far as to call it spam. I agree with unorclan, get a life, don't flame please. I don't even think that free bank space is essential. Free players have proven that there are so many items in the free game that bank space becomes a problem. I think this was intentionally done by Jagex to pressure more people into joining members, so I doubt that even if all the free players in Runescape joined this campaign it still wouldn't succeed. Maybe if all the free players boycotted Runescape? :XD:
  15. "Ianer" was my nickname, and "101" was my grandfather's name.
  16. This is great as long as it doesn't extend the teleportation times.
  17. It doesn't seem like you even read the first post, as it's about whether wilderness capes would benefit F2P, not about whether F2P needs/deserves them. Perhaps you just wanted to rant about F2Ps. 1) This first point isn't valid as it has nothing to do with the argument. 2) It's called accidents. Everybody makes mistakes, and sometimes that one accidental hit can make all the difference later on. 3) You're welcome to answer this, and I don't think using debate terms will help you.
  18. Personally, I think that the decision to get 12 extra spaces is yours, just pay the $5 US for it. The only people who pay $15 are Australians who pay by text-message, and that's what-100 people? Personally, I pay around the same amount as you (50 cents less I believe), which isn't that much. Please don't say anything about your parents, I pay through the mail because they wouldn't let me pay otherwise.
  19. One of my friends was muted by a pmod without a good cause, that pmod later received black marks and lost pmod status. Pmods can't permanently mute people, you are muted until Jagex deals with you. A person can't be perm muted by anyone except Jagex.
  20. There woudn't be any "wandering" involved according to my suggestion: Yes but i still don't see the portals as neccessary, there are lots of skills. Only 7 are members only. That means there need to be a portal for: crafting, firemaking, cooking, fishing, woodcutting, attack, defence, strength, prayer, runecrafting, smithing, mining, hitpoints, magic and range. All these have different locations, with different people who say different things. That's going to take up a LOT of space. Something that jagex can not afford to do. jagex have now got a million mems and its 5 us $ a month so thats 5 million bucks a month i think they can afford it It's your decision to get a skill cape, just pay $5 US. Jagex can afford it, but so what? They aren't a charity...
  21. With Party Pete.
  22. I'm not entirely sure that this is a scam, but some guy tried to sell me his rune axe for 80k, reported him for scamming.
