It's near impossible to have a game as big as RuneScape without glitches even if it is constantly checked and re-checked. For the most part, plenty of bugs & glitches are harmless, there will be some however, though they are uncommon, that are. Bugs such as the POH ring glitch etc... They're fun to play with while they're unfixed (of course, only the safe ones) to be honest \ :-$ .

That would be right. Under the Duel-Arena page in the KB, Jagex states that "If you win the duel tournament, you will be teleported to the Duel Arena Hospital, all of your wounds will be healed, and you will receive all of the entry money taken." The possibility that Jagex'll use the Grand Exchange as a medium to make a "gold sink", as said by Krimm, is highly plausible considering that it's about time for another (massive) money sink. The last time that this occured was when Construction came out I think and perhaps they think it's about time to have another one. Maybe it'll be in order to compensate for the large amount of gold that stopped going out of the game because of shop update? I don't really know, but it'll be interesting to see how things will turn out : .

I actually answered "looks" for the most important aspect in a weapon. At the moment, if max hits of weapons were to keep increasing, they would soon be able to knock-out a 99 HP player in a single smack - and I'm pretty sure we all don't want that :P . I wouldn't mind Jagex releasing a new series of decorative/good looking weapons just for the sake of it to be honest :) . They need to be more colourful since the vast amount of weapons we have right now are more then enough to cater to every players' needs. Though I say that... I wouldn't mind a weak weapon with godly DPS :-k

I'm afraid that's the way it is and it can't be changed. There'll be some inconsiderate people and some considerate but eitherway, if you think that you deserve the spot because you were there first, you need to fight for your opinion. Obviously the person who's trying to take the spot from you won't roll over and hand it to you if you ask, so be persistant and bug him back :) . Annoy the hell outta him, and he'll most likely leave - unless of course he's a thick 9 year old who can't take a hint. If this is the case, I prefer to bring a few darts or knives and give em a taste of their own medecine :wink: . If you just leave however and allow yourself to show how badly you're ticked off, you just give the person who stole the spot from you all the satisfaction in the world. Some idiots just annoy others for the sake of it and if they see you're responding in a negative way, it gives them even more reason to continue.

I know for sure http://www.rsbandb.com has one, so you can go there if you like. RuneHQ may have one as well, but that's only from what I've heard. Although RS B & B's one is pretty easy to use yet effective as well, you can go to RHQ if you don't like it and if they don't have one, just google one up.

Nope. Never gonna happen, sorry :wink: . But yes, I do think Jagex presents magic in a believable way. LOTR did it way better though :) . In RS almost every adventurer out there happens to be a magician who has the knowledge and resources to be able to teleport etc... In LOTR, magic was only used by a select few who are knowledgeable in alot of things. This of course made them them more powerful than the average warrior (like Gandalf :lol: ). In my opinion however, magic is only magic when you see it and you don't know how its done. But then again, that's just me :shock: .

It's "Salarin". :-w To get to him, you'll need 67 (or 68, I'm not sure) Agility which is the hardest of the requirements so if you have that, there's no worries. Next... 45+ Defence 60+ Mage 60+ HP Mystic isn't necessary as even a +0 to +10 Magic attack will suffice (I know - I've done it myself), so you should be worrying to augment your armour accordingly for the maximum melee defence and a tiny bit of mage offense. I would suggest this set up... Rune Full Helm God Cape-----------------Amulet of Glory/Fury---------------nothing Air Staff/Fire Staff-------Rune Platebody----------Rune Kite/Unholy Book Rune Legs RFD Gloves----------------Mystic Boots/D boots---------ROW/nothing Only the bolt spells will hit him, and if they do, they'll constantly hit him for their max. Eg. if you use Fire Bolt you'll always hit 8 if you don't splash. There is a particular luring technique designed so he won't hit you, but its a bit too hard to explain in words and anyway, if you are going to use the luring method, mage armour'll be more appropriate. For your inventory, just bring fire bolt casts and 10 or so pieces of food (monkfish/lobster are all right). The droprate I'm not so sure about, so you might wanna head over and test for yourself. Dude, the graphics are so good that you can see his nipples. :shock: There just rendered images, it would be much harder to do that for moving images in game. If you look around the knowledge database and especially the "why should I join members?" area you will see lots of pictures like these, they've been on the site for a long time. I still have the right to say that Goblin nipples are freaky. :uhh: What's with you and nipples? -.- :wall: And those rendered images look awesome :) . I really wonder though if their two new games'll have as much success as RuneScape did and if so, whether or not they'll stop updating RS sooner or later :anxious:

^ Too true. The story you wrote seemed as though you were about to be scammed from the very beginning, and yes, did go too far in my opinion. Despite me saying this though, if his story was as convincing as you described it to be, I would've done the same. Call me soft or anything, but I would've given him a whip if I were in your shoes. Thinking that something like that happened to a friend (even if I've known that friend for a short amount of time) and me not doing anything beyond the whole "Sorry to hear," thing would've driven me insane with 'guilt'. If it actually did happen, then I'd be happy knowing that I've done at least some good to help him in his time of need, no matter how unusual the nature of his request is (in this case, the whip). However, if it didn't happen at all, instead of being angry knowing that I got scammed, I would actually pity him. I mean, who (supposedly) values a pixelated item over such things in the real world? While I was doing one of the RFD sub-quests (the dwarf one), I had to head up to Ice Mountain and kill an Icefiend in order to get on with the quest. I ran up from Falador, and killed one, when all of a sudden, another player pops up beside me seeming as though his head was about to explode. With a face very much like this :twisted: I imagine, he says... "^%$$% BLOODY SANDWICH LADY! HOW WAS I MEANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL A BAGUETTE IS?!!?!?!?! French people must DIIIIEEEE!" (no offence, just a joke) And almost immediately after that, another player comes up. "Lol," he laughs. "Must be the mountain air." Yeah, that never did happen :( :( ... Buuuuuuut...I did get around 26 boxes when I was chinchompa training - a personal record for me

When RCing through the abyss, always use Super Energy pots - it almost doubles your runecrafting rate at the cost of around 10K GP worth of pots an hour. If you're about to do a quest, obtain all the items needed beforehand to save time running around gathering them when you're doing it. Stay informed; read all the guides you can and when the time comes, you'll have the info you need and won't need to search for any info again. :mrgreen:

I haven't been lagging since the week leading to the GWD update, but I seem to be fine now :) . If your internet is slow anywhere else (like when browsing the web), you might wanna contact your internet service provider and see if there's anything wrong. If that doesn't work, just jump up and down the room and yell at your computer and it should fix itself up : (individual results may vary)

I'm with zelda on this one, mostly because I've attempted this before, and it didn't turn out very well . Even at 91 Range, it took FOREVER to take down an Iron Dragon with those bolts :x

I agree. Why should other people care about how others play the game if the way they play it is completely legitimate? To answer that question, the people who have posted above have basically answered it (challenge/main being banned/to be unique/etc...). The thing on my mind when the topic of Level 3 Skillers comes around though, is why do "ordinary" players discriminate or dislike them so much? *Runs off to make a level 4 skiller* :ohnoes:
