It happens every once in awhile after you kill a brother. If he drained your life, and didn't count on your kill count, I'd go back in the crypt and see if he's really dead. Sounds like he might not have died. If he's dead then you won't see him again in the crypt. NOTE: The brothers do not drop their own items exclusively. For instance, Karil can drop a piece of Guthan. I can say this because once I killed only 1 Karil, and got two of his pieces in one chest, and another time I skipped Karil altogether and got his bow. FYI.

All I know, is that I want a RED CAVALIER HAT just like the clothes seller has. I hope they make some different colors for the Cav hats, berets and current hats. I'm excited about the clue update, I wish it was this week.

Oh, this was a bug? Thank god. Nothing more frustrating than walking into mega dangerous monsters that you shouldn't be. I thought they did this on purpose to make it more challenging. It was getting seriously annoying. Barrows was killing me. Literally. I do Verac behind the safespots, and he was pounding on me as I'd walk out of it. I'm so glad they fixed this, I was about to redo the Barrows Guide.

I'm right with you... squared. I'm to the point where I've played the game, done the deal, and now I'm bored just to log in. My goals are reached, and to make new ones would mean like "99 str" or "99 range" and that doesn't do it for me. (Too much xp, too little reward) 90 does just fine for me, and by the time you get to 90, you've had your fill of whatever it is. If it wasn't for the Barrows, I'd be a non-member. But I was such a runescaper, that its part of my blood now. Kinda like the mods and crewbies on here. Retired, but its still in the blood, so they end up here. Hehe. So, I spend much more time on here then in the game. (This is because I can browse forums at my job, so thats a disclaimer. If I coudln't, I wouldn't be on here that much.)

The hitting through prayer option isn't the most important part. The real reason its so good for PVP is that it hits through ALL protection... armor, prayer, no matter... With player armor protection, PVP ends up being zero after zero. When Verac ignores the protection there are many less zeros, and is the most effective overall prolonged attack. Dharok can get you with one hit, but Verac will hit you more. Thats why so many use it Fight Pits. And at the duel arena, duelers avoid anyone wearing it. And keep in mind it also has the best prayer bonus in the game, by far. All this has probably been said, but I didn't have the gumption to read through all of the replies when I know what I want to say. :P

Ah, well, with your levels, looks like you won't be coming back for the xp, but for just the fun. Ahhhh, the benefit of already putting in your dues. You're gonna love the new stuff. Barrows is a blast, and you'll actually find it quite challenging, and super rewarding. Slayer is the only new skill that has irony for you, because to raise it, its all combat. There is Castle Wars, and I guarantee you the first time you try it, you'll be hooked for a full day. Hehe. There's the fight pits, and the ultimate challenge of all time.... Quest of the Fire Cape. Hope it hooks you back in. Welcome back.

Also, keep in mind, that if you equip your barrows set after the combat starts, and before the combat ends, the degrading "clock" never runs. This is manipulation, but shouldn't be considered bug abuse, I would guess. The "clock" has to start and stop somewhere, and thats how to get around the "ticks". Personally, I consider this too much of a pain to utilize, unless you're training on something with super high hits.

Keep in mind that the brothers have very predictable drops. Each brother will either drop: 300ish mind runes 120ish choas runes 80ish death runes 40ish blood runes 40ish bolt racks dragon med half key barrows item coins So, you got two of your brothers to drop runes, and the other 4 dropped coins. Please read this before you do anymore 250 kill count insanities. lol. The kill count only increases your odds to getting something better than coins. And from my own data, its not even a significant increase in odds. I believe the kill count formula applies from 0-30. After 30, there doesn't seem to be any difference in rewards. I beg you not to waste your time on 250 kill counts. You will be very dissapointed, because the rats don't drop, and you'll NEVER get 10k bloods. :P

33, and half keys don't count. I only count the dragon meds and barrows items. I have recieved 2 of Veracs items in the same chest. Only 1 Verac killed. This confirms that the brothers drop random items, not just their own. Also, I've been lucky enough to get 7 non-gp drops when I've killed a twin. This confirms that a twin DOES drop.

Okaaaaaaaay, so that explains the OoC thing, too. Order of cabbages? Lol! Thats just.... weird. You know you're addicted to rs when.... ....you worship cabbage. lol lol lol

When it goes to 0 prayer, it means its now under 1. or .9. Basically, this means that you have .99 (or 1) prayer when it actually switches to zero. This happens everywhere. I guess its a rounding error. Or maybe by design to be nice to us? Not a glitch, though.

Okay, thats the second "Kah Bah Gee" reference for caggabe, so I'm missing something. I am disturbed that I don't know what you guys are talking about. Where does this "Kah Bah Gee" reference come from?

Well, I've deleted a sound driver thinking it was a modem driver. Its E-Machines, and now I need to know how to get it back. I figured I'd give a shout out here, see if anyone has a clue. :P Can I download a driver from the sound card's maker? (Haven't opened it up yet) Syntek was the name of the driver I deleted, but i can't find a website for them... so.... Can I get the driver from the E-Machine start up disk without reformatting it? Can i just download any generic sound driver? Its a bare bones card, I'm sure. Any ideas? Thanks

Its common thats customer support gives different answers. Keep in mind, these folks are NOT mods. They are minimum wage cust serv reps that don't know everything. The only thing that concerns me about this reply is that it is not the normal form letter used for the thousands of Barrows inquiries they get. I don't think its a fake, but I don't trust the answer. Hehe.

Uncle Khalid must have used the puppet for his kebabs, and they miscounted. ;) Actually, he was referring the 8 items you get for making the stuff, which is correct. The puppet comes from decorating the tree. But no where in my cutscene did I see Diango put the present under the tree, or say how much he liked it. Special treatment for the editor, I see how it is. Hmph.

Yes, the respawn formula includes members playing. F2P and P2P respawn formulas are different, as there are member worlds with under 500 players, and they didn't want to penalize people turning members with worse respawn rates. Now with so many players, I don't know if they've adjusted again. But a full world will respawn almost twice as fast as an empty one. This includes store restocking rates, as well.

Sorry, ignored this part on last post. Jumped on the Jagex thing too fast. :P They have verified that the prayers of KQ aren't really prayers. They just indicate the high defense that she displays in each form. So, although they aren't technically prayers, she has uber defense stats for those classes. So, I'm assuming that Verac hits through all defense, not just armor. And the specials on the other brothers are pretty common (the ones you can see) And why didn't they make Veracs and Dharoks special with some of that purple/pink animation so you can know when it hits? Maybe thats a bug too. lol. Wee.

Lol, no, it took them two months to actually believe us when we kept telling them Dharok wasn't working. Hundreds of bug reports were sent, and they were all responded with "how Dharok works", without listening that it doesn't work. I sent 3 bug reports. Finally, on the the third one I screamed to stop telling me HOW it works, and please check the new toy to see that its DOESN'T work. lol. Finally, they stopped long enough to test it, and fixed it. This was over 2 months after the Barrows were released. Soooooo... no... they don't notice, unless we as players scream at them. :P

Whoops. Rocks still work. You just can't "block" anymore. There is only 1 rock that doesn't stop em. Check out the advised safespots in the Barrows Guide in my sig. :)

It took me a month to figure out that you can switch doses from one vial to another. Karil sure woke me up when his unannounced badness popped up. It was nice to find that a tree disappeared last month that gives a very happy shortcut to the north Ardy farming patch. I wonder what changes were made in two updates this week? Maybe they put the blue back in magic trees. :P (I nominate that one for the best if-it-ain't-broke-dont-fix-it update of the year.) Hey, what a cool thread topic. lol. Whats the update that they changed something that ruined it for you? lol. Spam bait? Be cool, now... lets exclude the whip special update, thats just too obvious. 8)
