Did anyone see that CSI: episode with the AIDS victim? A hooker with aids was stabbed and blood was spurting everywhere, and some of it splashed into the killer's eyes, so he got AIDS/HIV too. It was great.

Yea, the US appealed to the 3rd base umpire and the 3rd base umpire ruled in favour of Japan - that should have been it. But Buck Martinez went and argued with the home plate umpire who should not turn over an already appealed call, but he did and ruled in favour of the US. Would it surprise you to know that the home plate umpire was American? Exactly the reason I dislike american baseball lately. The players are losing respect for the game, cheating more, getting bigger egos, and are getting even bigger paychecks. Only games I really care about nowadays are the League champs and the World Series, IF that.

One of my friends just got pregnant a few months ago (she just turned 16). She cited her reason for having unprotected sex was that her boyfriend told her he was sterile from smoking so much marijuana. Gah, ridiculous. Oh yeah, abortion, it's one of those things I tend to try to stay out of. I'll really never know until I'm in that situation.

My friend had to quit smoking so he'd be fit for Basic, he'd been smoking for 2 some odd years. Basically he just went through hell, bought a lot of gum, and bought a lot of those butterscotch candys. He lasted a whole 6 months, but now that he's made it, he's smoking again.

All I watched was the opening game between USA and Canada, AND WE LOST?!?!. After that I didn't bother watching it anymore.

Full Metal Jacket First time watching, and wow, it was a lot different than I expected. All you ever hear about is R. Lee Hermey's lines and his character. One of the best war movies out there. Vertical Limit Err, really stunk. Innacurate, weak characters, weak plot, etc. Kept me into it though.
