Aw man, don't do that. I've heard countless stories from my friends about guys who asked "what's your favorite color" on those awekward phone conversations. It doesn't work well. But eveything else Knives said, go for I guess. Just try not to make it awekward for yourself, or it will be for her too.

No, I don't have any statistics like that, but I'm sure you can google it. And yes, it IS THAT hard to get in to. You need to be in top physical/mental/academic health for them to even look at you (AND a state senator's or Vice/Presidental signature on your application). Also, plenty of jobs put you in harms way day after day that don't pay you half what you could be making after graduating from West Point; Construction, fishing, mining etc. Besides, usually the last thing you're going to be doing after the army's spent half a million dollars training you and giving you a top notch college education is being on the front lines of a war (you DO get to choose what you do in the Army, you know).

Still was a two lane per direction road, but anyway, sure it's feasable (and that's what Merc showed), just not very likely is what people are saying.

If he was spitting out the right side, there'd still be a lane of traffic between the kid and the tree branch. Either way it's pretty much unfeasable. (note that the illustration is NOT on a one-lane road)

4 years of FREE education from a school more selective than any other Ivy League school and will give you a guaranteed (and high paying) job for 5 years straight out of college. What a sweet mom. (but i'm assuming it wasn't an acceptance letter)

Actually, I have quite a few friends in the National Guard, and after school some of em are being deployed to the border (there's a fairly large military base at the AZ border that does quite a bit of Border Patrol work).

I'm really only going to pay attention to see how far the American football team goes. I think think they're seeded 6th this year. Besides that I just find football way too boring for me, American football ftw :(

(not offending Canadians) As far as I know, Canada wasn't involved a bit in that shpeil. The terrorists involved were members of al-Qaeda, from various middle eastern nations. The planes took off from various airports on the east coast of the US, not Canada.
