  1. I have a small church, a viking siege engine, two different viking boats, three different dragons, a wolf, and assorted chariots and siege engines on the shelf directly above me, and above that about fifteen years of technical lego history.
  2. I'm currently collecting the Viking series. I have the ship in the closet to build after exams are over, and I'm saving for the fortress. http://www.lego.com/eng/vikings/product ... umber=7018 http://www.lego.com/eng/vikings/product ... umber=7019
  3. We had ours the 28th of April. The evening before we snuck in, and set up all sorts of props to make our school seem like a high security compound. We had put a barricade in front of the main entrance, we had guard towers, the fences were boarded up with cardboard covered in garbage bags and we had fake metal detectors at the entrances to the building. We had several people dressed up as guards checking student passes and searching bags. We even used the school anouncement system to broadcast messages like "Please follow the instructions of our security personel, they are here for your safety" and "Access to the restricted areas is expressly forbidden and will be severely punished" Then, well into the third hour of the day, came the liberation army. We stormed all the classrooms at once, driving the students and teachers, except for a handful of 'collaborators' which we locked away, to the area in front of the main entrance to listen to a long speech about overthrowing the teachers' opressive regime and stuff like that. Then the team of teachers had to compete against a team of students for the freedom of those collaboraters we were holding hostage.
  4. I'll see if I can upload some pictures of my Isengard model, although most of my stuff is packed up right now.
  5. I guess it's just something most boys do at some point between the ages 6-15, probably more out of curiosity than anything. I've done it a few times, but mostly just stuff like setting fire to some paper in the bushes. Still, I managed to get a scar on my leg from it once. I had found a deodorant can, and I was setting the spray on fire a few times when the flame reminded me of a piece of fireworks that had a small burst of coloured flame jetting out of one side to make it spin around on the ground (don't know the English name for it). I put a rubber band around the can to produce a steady stream and then lit it and threw it on the ground. It spun for about half a minute when it suddenly sputtered, and before I realized what was happening it exploded, with me about two meters away from it. A piece of shrapnel caught me in the leg, tearing a pretty deep but luckily thin gash. It was pretty clean, so I managed to convince my mum that I got the wound while trying to climb over a fence that had a nail sticking out of it.
  6. Even if you said that (I don't feel like dragging up logs over an argument), it gives you no right to walk into a topic that clearly isn't intended for people like you and drop statements that you know will only serve to anger people that are actually interested in debating the subject at hand. I think the proper definition for your behaviour in this thread is trolling.
  7. Too bad they yell it at me.I dare you to listen to Deep Silent Complete or Dead Boy's Poem by Nightwish or Anna Lee by Dream Theater and still maintain your point that all metal vocalists 'scream' at you...

I used to play it, but it never really caught my interest...

I'd pray that'd be true for the vice-presidential debate alone...
  10. The only band I can think of right now would be Leaves' Eyes, guess my music isn't all that summery...
  11. Of course if you want to do something a little more subtle, wait until he leaves a window open and start pumping cement into his room...
  12. Actually, I think it'd be a good idea to at least increase the maximum combined height to allow the use of one underbanner, so a combined height of 170 pixels. I really don't think that adding something like this to a standard sig would warp things too much:
  13. That is so random and possibly un-neccesary. No it wasn't. I was simply pointing out that while you're annoyed by one Endemol (the Dutch production company that made Big Brother and earned millions off it), we have to deal with an entire television station run by those people.
  14. If you think you have it bad, over here we have an entire station that only airs Endemol programming...
  15. I can't blame you, it's the worst thing to come out of Holland since that smurf song...
  16. Besides the fact that you should do your own homework, I'd also like to point out that all three of those questions are easy enough to answer if you just used google or Wiki...
  17. At the beginning of the film, Constantine knows that he's dieing from lung cancer, so he's trying as hard as he can to stop as many demons as possible, hoping to redeem himself, even though Gabriel tells him it's hopeless. However, when Constantine sacrifices himself at the end of the movie, they let him into heaven after all. To prevent this, the devil takes away his lung cancer so that he can live on, probably hoping that Constantine will slip up somewhere later in life so that he'll come down to hell after all.
  18. Pffft, you watch too much South Park...
  19. How about the Street Fighter movie? So bad it probably sped up RaÃÆÃâÃâúl JuliÃÆÃâÃâá's (Mr. Bison) death by at least a few years. Too bad really, he was a brilliant Gomez Addams :(
  20. Sonata Arctica - Last Drop Falls That song actually helped me a lot during a difficult moment in my life, it's interesting how a song can do that for a person...

George Carlin has been in comedy since before Bill Hicks was born...
  22. Evanesence, but only when nobody's looking >.>
  23. Whoo, interesting. Not everybody has a huge stomach you know, if you're that hungry just eat another slice :?

I have a few of his shows on my hard drive, he's pretty enjoyable. The only thing that kinda annoys me is how he can go on for half an hour showing his audience just how messed up the world is, and then he suddenly switches back to fart jokes. It's as if at the last moment he's too afraid to face his own truth, so he has to comfort himself (and his audience) with some banalities.
