Airsoft: Gas mask?
I would just wear a paintball mask if I were you. I kind of want an automatic pellet gun right now. -.- I used to have a pellet pistol, but I gave it to my cousin because I didn't have much use for it. (I only used it to kill any bugs that invaded the house.)

Colored Contacts.. Yay or nay?
To be honest, the shade of blue doesn't look that natural, especially around the edges of the iris. I used to wear blue contacts, but the contacts were a lot bigger than the normal ones that I was used to wearing. Plus, they just looked unnatural. If you don't like your natural eye color, try something like green. Just don't get something that is highly saturated. When you change eye color, the key is subtleness. I also suggest sticking to a contact lens brand such as Acuvue. To my knowledge, the colored ones are just as small as the regular, clear ones.

Man Given $873 Million Dollar Fine For Spamming FaceBook.
I agree. This is a rather radical judgement on the man. If it was a smaller fine under a half million dollars, it would be possible for him to pay it off and not ruin his life. There are worse things on Facebook than a spam message advertising Enzyte or Viagra. The only seriously bad thing that he did was the phishing part.

Grades, GPA's; How do you do in School?
Why do you people think a 3.0 is so bad? I guess because it's more of an average grade. You need like a 3.5 or higher in order to be inducted into National Honor Society. I suppose everyone wants to be among the best in order to receive huge scholarships and opportunities to go to the university that they like the most.

Turning 18
When I turn 18, it's just going to be another day. I already consider myself an adult and am basically a college freshman now. Maybe it'll be a motivator to finally get my driver's license. I'm almost 17 and I still do not even have a permit. It'll be even more of a motivator if my parents give in and buy me a red Mini Cooper or some other European-made car that I would like. American cars really aren't my thing. Watch out! He's got an agenda!

Please help! My friend is suicidal. =(
It sounds like a plea for help right now. If she was really hell-bent on killing herself, there really isn't much you can do. Regardless, she's obviously asking for help. Do the best that you can. The most beneficial thing that you can do for yourself is to calm down. If the worst case scenario happens and she does severely hurt herself, you definitely do not want to feel as if you are a failure and blame everything on yourself. It really isn't your fault. Wrist-cutting isn't necessarily a suicide attempt, but rather a primitive way of releasing emotional pain. However, it is a sign that the person is likely to harbor suicidal thoughts, which definitely must be dealt with. Medicine doesn't always work, either. By the way, I'm almost 17 and I haven't even studied for my driver's permit yet. :|

Grades, GPA's; How do you do in School?
I had a 3.5 last quarter. I was only down because I slacked off big time in PAP Pre-Calculus and made a 36% F. This quarter, I'm actually doing my homework for Pre-Cal and I hope to drag my GPA closer to a 4.0. I took AP World History last year, and this year, I'm taking AP US History. I believe my AP World grade was a B. However, we all failed the AP exam because we weren't prepared enough. (The teacher just had us watch ghost videos every Friday, and we spent about a week watching Memoirs of a Geisha.) In my AP US History class, my average is right at 90.0%. It's okay, I guess. I'm a junior and I'll have 21.5 credits out of 24 by the end of this year. Next year, I'm mainly taking college courses so I can gain concurrent credit. I have taken French I and French II, Spanish I and am currently in Spanish II. I plan to take German this summer. I really hate the fact that I'm only familiar with these languages and I have to spend a few nights' worth of reviewing when I go for a period of time without speaking the language. However, I can usually read and get the main idea of it without too much difficulty. It's harder for me to freely speak it, but my pronunciation is fairly decent and I can read it without too much of a problem. I suppose that's typical when you only take 2 years in each language, though. I really want to be a fluent French speaker. I'm only taking German for the heck of it. OT: Does anyone have any suggestions for becoming fluent?

What's your Favorite Thanksgiving food?
Stuffing w/ Cranberry Sauce Pecan Pie Sweet Potatoes w/ Marshmallows Pumpkin Pie Chocolate Pie (with a layer of fudge on the top; hard to explain) I usually don't eat meat. Literally, I'll just put stuffing and cranberry sauce on my plate, along with sweet potatoes. After that, I eat a slice of pie or go back for a little more stuffing.

What's you're political Idoligy
I do not see the harm with lowering the voting age to 16. Many teenagers feel as if they have absolutely no say in what happens in the world and they complain. This would allow them to actually take action for a change. Age 13 is way too low, in my opinion. Children at that age are more immature than their young adult counterparts and are more likely to be influenced by their parents.

What's you're political Idoligy
Gay Rights: Yes Free Healthcare: I really like the idea. Prostitution: I have no good reason either way to have a view on it. The only concern that comes to mind right now is that it might not have any health regulations and that it promotes sexism against women by portraying them as property. Separation of Church and State: It should be enforced better. As of now, at least in Arkansas, you can vote inside a church. Also, religion has way too much influence on politics. In the United States, government officials are sworn into office with the Bible. Freedom of speech and religion is perfectly fine, but not when it compromises someone else's rights. Creationism in Science Class: No. However if you want to teach it in a general religion class, be my guest. Stem-Cell Research: Yes Improved Education System: Yes Abortion: I lean toward the pro-choice side, as there are certain situations that I really sympathize with the female. I frown upon it when it involves a case of stupidity and ignorance. Perhaps candidates for abortion should have a brief session that explains their options clearly and objectively. Gun Control: Yes. Currently in the United States, you can walk into a pharmacy that sells guns and buy an AK-47 with a bayonet on it that looks like a hunting knife. Yes, they exist and are legal as far as I know. Gender Roles: They should not be recognized by society, especially when it comes to jobs. Alternative Fuel: There really isn't much of a choice, is there? Fossil fuels will not last forever, you know. It's better to start the research while you're ahead. Affirmative Action: I frown upon it as it is racism. It should only be there to benefit people of ALL races that have very low income and cannot afford a proper education on their own. Right now, a racial minority with a good income can take advantage of affirmative action and be unfairly ahead of other individuals. It discriminates against "white" individuals just because they are coincidentally part of a racial majority. Affirmative action fails to solve racial discrimination as it provokes it. Environment: Stricter policies should be enforced that would guarantee the protection of endangered species, other wildlife, and the overall well-being of the environment. Legalization of Illegal Drugs: In cases involving medicinal benefits for cancer patients, I do not see the harm of it. I suppose it could add an element of honesty as drug users would not have to resort to buying it in a covert manner and perhaps you'd see the street dealers in a minority as commercial businesses would start to appear. This would help protect the safety of the would-be clients as they would not have to go to a dark street corner in the ghetto to buy some marijuana. If this area is legalized, it should definitely be regulated. Perhaps this could be used to run the street dealers out of business by creating competition. Middle East: I think that we should try to end it as soon as we can. I fail to see economical benefits from it and we could use the money that we would spend on war supplies to actually improve national security and build up our economy. Censorship: I'm against unnecessary forms of it, as I feel like it conflicts with freedom of speech. However, I am pro-censorship during certain cases, one of which involves child abuse and radical indoctrination. (A good example is a dangerous cult raising children to believe insane things.) A common example in America are families that are radically religious and they do not give the child a chance to form their own opinions and the child either ends up scarred and angry or out of touch with reality, again flowing back into my dangerous cult example. Another case involves violence and statement of intention of harm and/or bullying. This should be censored as it only terrorizes or intimidates an individual. Of course, censorship against articles that speak out against something, including government, violates a human's right to freedom of speech.

Teenager commits suicide on webcam
It's pretty disgusting that someone would want to view someone's webcam with their promise to commit suicide or hurt themselves. Even if it was an obvious joke, I don't think that any decent human being should watch it. This reminds me of the video that showed teenagers throwing a baby across the room and laughing at it when it cried. The only liability that I can see that the site would have is that they failed to monitor the content on their site and/or failing to do something to prevent the suicide. Even if it is a site that many teenagers take advantage of and joke about committing suicide, it should still be reported to the police.

Radio host jailed over couch
Well I've heard on BBC World News that George Bush was wanting to revise the Endangered Species Act in order for oil-drilling companies or construction companies to bypass a scientific assessment of the land for endangered species and other possible environmental consequences and go straight to the drilling or construction. Isn't that grand? This would be a great good-bye present from GWB, wouldn't it?

Random Friend Invites.
On Facebook, I currently have seven friend requests from people I have never heard of, most of them living in South America or Latin America. I don't know why. Most kids would randomly try to add you as a buddy so they can appear to have more friends than they actually have. This happened from my former school. Several kids that I knew were snobbish added me, but I knew that they only did it because they wanted the extra number that they would get by me accepting. I only keep people that I know and talk to on something such as my Facebook. It's a tool used for socializing. If the person snubs their nose up at me when I try to chat with them (especially after me accepting their friend request) I tend to blow them off and delete them. Has anyone else noticed ads that are designed to look like "You have messages in your inbox" or "You have 1 New Friend Request?" These are very annoying and you almost have to be stupid to click on them because they are generic and look nothing like anything used on the site itself. Nonetheless, they are distracting when you are trying to read something.

Our Generation
Don't forget to add Twilight and MCR. Angst! Okay, Twilight is now a movie and a book series. That doesn't change the fact that it's so overrated and so stereotypical of teenagers.

Our Generation
Most TV shows and mainstream music suck in my opinion. A lot of shows on television are tasteless repeat the same ideas over and over again. Also, most mainstream music isn't that great. They are constantly repeated across hundreds of radio stations until they become old and overrated. I've also noticed that many all-male rock bands either have that same whiny voice or that same husky voice. I tend to stay away from the TV and mainstream music. I am such an oddball when it comes to music, though. I love to listen to dance music (trance, techno, etc.) and Mozart every now and then. Even though I usually like more inspirational music, I'll listen to bands such as KMFDM from time to time. Oh and to the OP, long time no see.

Parental control's
I hate parental controls, especially internet filters. There are some things on the internet that can emotionally harm a young child and I would understand why parents would block those sorts of things. However, I think it's more effective to just keep all computers in a central location than to use an often poorly-designed internet filter program. The filters at school aren't too terribly difficult to bypass. Hell, you could bypass some of them by clicking a link a certain way. The other downside is that they also block useful information that is needed for schoolwork. Every now and then, a student discovers an unblocked, free proxy site and uses it to bypass the filter. I think it's hilarious that a few students were able to successfully install Halo for PC onto all of the computers in one of the computer labs. With the school's computer system, the program couldn't be permanently deleted, even if uninstalled. The program would just come back after the computer was restarted. It's funny because we are able to play an M-rated, military-style game while certain sites are blocked for no good reason. It just proves how mediocre most public schools are when it comes to networking and internet. I am, for the most part, opposed to censorship. However, when cases involve child abuse, threat of violence, and denying a person a proper education, it inevitably must be used. A child should not have to be the victim of radical indoctrination. Children should be able to develop their own beliefs. They should not have to believe something just because their parents believe in it. An example of this would have to be religious fundamentalists. They usually indoctrinate their children into believing very twisted things. Depending upon the severity, the child might be emotionally scarred. Terroristic threatening should not be allowed because it instills fear into a person's mind. It is often used as a form of suppression or intimidation. Finally, an individual should not be denied a proper education. In countries such as the United States, especially the southern region, teachers and other staff members preach to their students instead of teaching proper curriculum and/or doing their job. Individuals have the right to freedom of religion, but others have the right to freedom from religion. This also applies to teachers who force their politics on their students as well. Basically the aforementioned items that I oppose can be used to suppress ideas: Indoctrination can prevent someone from forming their own ideas, threats can be used to keep someone from speaking out or voicing their opinions, and teachers who preach to their students instead of doing their job can violate a person's right to a proper education and compromise a person's freedom of/from certain beliefs. Of course, the latter doesn't mean that the teacher cannot be religious or have any political views. The teacher just can't force them on their students, especially when they are supposed to be teaching something else. This would include mandatory prayer, proselytizing, and telling students to affiliate with a certain political party and/or vote a certain way.

Dragon Platebody "in game" picture?
I agree with the previous statements debunking this claim. It's just a female character wearing a dragon chainbody, a dragon medhelm, and a trimmed slayer cape. A dragon med on females has longer horns and is skinnier. A dragon fullhelm has this kind of "fin" on the back of it and is fatter. A trimmed slayer cape always has red shoulder pads that stick up into a pointed shape. This blends into the dragon chainmail and creates the illusion of it looking like a platebody. Also the character is wearing red gloves, which also makes it look almost as if the arms have dragon plating running down them, which it doesn't.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
[hide=][/hide] I'm not sure if this is relevant, but they changed the banner to this one at the beginning of this month. I have a feeling that this is some sort of hint. It appears that something is making something. It looks like a staff, yet it has some red part to it. Perhaps they're forging a dragon weapon? Perhaps it's the Staff of Armadyl? They do not look like Dragonkin, though. Perhaps it is irrelevant, but interesting nonetheless.
