  1. You have a typing class? The junior high I went to required you to take a computers class for 2 years and I voluntarily take computer courses in high school (usually the first one done with my work in class).
  2. Hiiii Miiike. Hello, I am Cad. I've been an alchoholic for... 3 years now. I've tried going cold turkey, but then realised chicken > turkey so I went cold chicken. I mostly get wasted on Scotch, but I am from England, so I call it Engh. Harder to pronounce but much more patriotic. I will probably be attending these meetings every day that I am not out of my face and hope to stop drinking when I turn 35. Everyone wish me a happy 20th birthday! But that is about 5 years away, so forget it. That does me. Next? Sorry Cad, the AA meeting is down the hall :P
  3. Me too. I usually have a fairly short list of things I want for Christmas so I have a general idea of what I'm getting. When I was young I'd get really excited on Christmas Eve + Christmas but now I keep myself calm. I don't really see the point in getting so excited anymore. Also, my parents might think I'm on drugs if I become a spaz all of a sudden (I'm usually calm/quiet when I'm around them). On topic... I don't remember any embarassing moments I've had.. And no, I'm not going to ask my parents if they remember any. :P
  4. Jennifer Love Hewitt She's my desktop background right now :

I've never had one but my brother used to have them quite often. He doesn't anymore though I'm not sure how he got them to stop.
  6. Please don't post your first pixel sigs. They take far too much time to c/c which is why I'm just going to tell you this: Try harder. 2 minutes is not enough.
  7. I was on tv once that I know of. I was at a Chicago Bulls Basketball Camp and a local news station came to do a story on it and I ended up on tv : Possibly a second time when a nasty tornado did a decent bit of damage to our neighborhood and a local news station interviewed a few of my neighbors about what they had seen. I was young so I just wandered by in the background :P
  8. Well, seeing as how I haven't put my faith into any religion yet, I'm not Jewish. But I'm in the holiday spirit so Happy Hanukkah! Hope you get some nice gifts ;)
  9. Wow, on Xenon that's amazing... I'm pretty good, I got a B on Max Unlimited on DDR MAX 2. American home verison I bet? :P That's what I have :P I don't have the kind of money to play it at an arcade like I do at home. I can't even get through DDR MAX 2. Though I can barely play heavy/expert mode. I usually play standard and get A's and B's. I'm not great, but I beat almost all of my friend :^^:
  10. I've played DDR. Actually, I play it almost every day and it's great for exercise. I've also played Stepmania. It was fun for a while but I'd rather get up on my feet and have some fun ;)
  11. My opinion of crap like this... If you try to keep kids from doing something, they're bound the rebel. When you tell them they can't drink till they're 21, they'll want to try it early. True, not all kids are going to try it but a lot will/have before they're 21. If you ban Harry Potter kids will get their hands on it and read it anyways. We know magic and witchcraft isn't real so why do some people try so hard to keep it away from their kids? Reading a story about people casting spells and such really makes the imagination work, so why deprive your child of a great imagination?
  12. See below Mono is short for Mononucleosis which is commonly referred to as the 'kissing disease'. It is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. Since the virus is located in saliva/mucus it is commonly passed by kissing but can be passed by coughing, sneazing, or even sharing a glass/silverware. Currently, I have a nasty cold and I'm none too happy about being sick.
  13. Such poor use of the English language.. On topic: I already have a 360 (it actually belongs to my brother but I play it more than he does). I don't ever plan on purchasing a Wii or Playstation 3. Nintendo has always seemed to have more childish games and the Playstation 3 just seems like crap to me.

So just because girls find it fun, it's impossible for it to be classless? It's degrading and isn't even dancing. I'm not in the mood to argue.. Go start a fight elsewhere.. Get out of OT, then? You do relise there's more to this forum (and life for that matter) than fighting, right?
  15. I've been typing without looking at the keyboard for years. Occasionally I glance down to make sure I have my fingers set correctly (well, correctly for how I type). I've actually have to look down a lot more since I got my laptop since I have a tendency to bump the mouse pad and select something other than the nice little box TIF supplies for me to type in. I got a lot of typing practice when I played online games. I'd have to pay attention to the screen, have my hand on my mouse at all time (scroll wheel was my Vent button), and find my hotkeys while still seeing what was happening on the screen. Also, in 7th grade they made us cover our hands while we typed. It was a total pain in the a* at first but after a few years of practice I've gotten pretty good at it and have managed to get to 100ish WPM without having to look down at the keyboard. When I insert BBcode tags I usually have to look down. I never set the '[' or ']' as a hotkey and never used them much in class so I never really memorized them on the keyboard. I'm getting better and refuse to use to buttons to insert them (they always seem to throw in extra tags if I decide to finish the tags myself).
  16. I really want to see this movie. If it wasn't my family's tradition to stay home on Christmas, I'd go see it the day in comes out. I agree to a certain extent. I've seen some older movies that are pretty cheesy but I think now adays we're relying on computers to do most of the work, and so actors don't work as hard as they should to earn the millions they make.

  18. Gammer? Pwned, no? Bachlors?? Bachelors, you mean??? Smack Me. I will smack you.. I'm sick and my brain isn't working the best at the moment. Also, I haven't slept much lately so I'm being really lazy.
  19. When you decide to blow up, make sure I'm in another country :P How do I view myself..? I think 'About Me" is a little better title for this.. Hi, I'm Ryan. I'm pretty social and hate being alone. I don't feel like I talk much but I've been told to 'quit talking so much' quite a few times. I usually keep my opinions to myself unless I'm asked for the sake of keeping peace. I'm emo but not the stereotype. I surpress a lot of my feelings and let them out through art rather than physically or vocally. You can't classify me by the music I listen to because I listen to a little bit of everything. I usually have a fairly optimistic outlook on life. I hate having a routine and enjoy change/things to be spontaneous.
  20. I'm planning on going to the University of Iowa to get my bachlors degree in photography. If not photography I'm thinking of drawing or becoming an English teacher (you can't imagine how many times I get smacked for correcting someone's gammer/spelling or just plain laughing at them).

I don't know that I'd call your science teacher funny.. From what she wrote on the board she seems like that girl in Sorority Boys that belongs to the DOG house and hands out feminist fliers in front of the COC house during parties.. If the girls find fun in that, why be an a* about? I'm a guy and I enjoy that but even I'd be angry if a teacher did that.. Though the only kinds of dancing I can do is grinding and slow dancing. At homecoming they put on the Cha Cha Slide and I just couldn't get it right :P But it was fun.. :
  22. I enjoy almost every genre except I'm not much of a fan of classical or jazz. I also don't like rap that's about how many girls/diamonds a guy has or how nice his car is. I enjoy metal as long as I can understand the lyrics. And most people know I <3 emo music.
  23. Any specific genre you're looking for? I have a decent sized music collection and though most of it is emo/depressing I do have some happy songs ;)
  24. You won't see an increase in your cardiovascular endurance unless you do more than 15 minutes at a heart rate of 135-180 bmp. Just throwing in a little bit of my knowledge. I can't seem to bring it all together at once right now.. :-s
  25. I have a massive headache so I'm not going to type much and nor am I the person to tell you much about what exercises to do. But I do have a nice little tip to help keep you going. Set your goals low. Set for first goal to only lose a few pounds within x days. Make sure you know you can reach that goal and once you reach it, set another small goal. You'll feel good about reaching your goal and want to reach your next one even more. Now I'm off to find some asprin #-o
