March 21, 200719 yr Usually most updates go pretty bad when it comes to its future. They usually end up deserted or abandon'ed. Just go to Kelgrim for example.. mostly dead. So what happened, if one day Jagex was able to max the worlds up to 4,000 people instead of 2,000? Would some of those deserted places see light? Or would the already filled and crowded streets of falador and varrock expanding to frustrating heights? Discuss ~Defender~ If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
March 21, 200719 yr Most people just don't know what those places are, such as Keldagrim. here!
March 21, 200719 yr Author Most people just don't know what those places are, such as Keldagrim. lol, so true.. had to look at a guide to find it. :wall: #-o I have to admit though.. with TWO THOUSAND people in one world, it doesn't seem very crowded at all and there is tons of deserted places.. Maybe everyone goes Pking when i'm on? :-# ~Defender~ If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
March 21, 200719 yr They wouldnt double server capacity. De_Pk - Level 117 - Banned September 30th '06.
March 21, 200719 yr Imagine 2000 players spread across RuneScape. Most of them would be in popular area's such as Edgeville Bank, Seers Bank, Varrock Bank etc. Few would be in boring, slightly hard to reach area's such as Keldagrim, Lleytta etc. here!
March 21, 200719 yr Well, think how big the world is. So many dungeons and cities. Even if they doubled server capacity places would still be empty. The reason those new places empty out after a while is because most people just go back to what they were doing before.
March 21, 200719 yr That's the reason for some of these pleace though.. for people who want to be on their own, and have advantages to doing so (such as having ore rocks to themselves, or magic trees) However, it would be cool to see more people in the more deserted areas.. I dont think I've ever seen one person at teh Dwarf city place other than when they released construction - people off to buy gold leaf and marble blocks. 92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer

March 21, 200719 yr to sadly re-state whats said.... I don't even know where or what that city is lol Kelgrim is the drawf city that you enter via either mine carts, or taking the boat from the dungeon enterence just north of the slayer cave. - East of Rellekka 92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer

March 21, 200719 yr and relleka is... where? :( Are you a member? It's the town north of Seers Village / Camalot, that's involved in the Fremnik quest ..where you get Fremmy name (like Dardor :P). 92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer
March 21, 200719 yr Rellekka is the Fremennik town. One could also use Fairy ring code DKS, walk down the mountain, and enter there. That together with the Miig carts is the fastest way to get to Keldagrim. However, if you have talked to the dwarf ambassador just southwest of the council chambers in Dorges-Khaan, you know that they are preparing some means to travel fast between both cities, perhaps even a 3rd cart track :) Former Leader of The Tal Shiar Alliance - An Original Tip.it ClanMember of the Wilderness Guardians and Founder of the Silent GuardiansFounder of The Conclave - A Tip.it Clan institutionTip.it Times author (click for all my articles) - When I use the wrong reasons to make the right statement, argue the reason, not the statement.MSSW4 General - Did we kick your ass too?Check us out!==> No seriously, if you like FREE GP, XP and Dung tokens, as well as Community, Opportunity and above all FUN... <==CLICK IT!
March 21, 200719 yr Lots of lag Other day, I realized 1/10th of all the people in a server where at PC. Maybe more that was j ust ther boat. Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
March 21, 200719 yr I RARELY see anyone at ruins of uzer or nardah. How pathetic :boohoo: Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
March 21, 200719 yr More people in one server will only result in a crowded area ending up more crowded. If you combine 2 servers in which Keldagrim is empty, it's still empty after you stuff all players in one server. March 21, 200719 yr the dwarf city is great. When I was a member, it was a good place to get coal. slightly long walk to abnk but always empty. Most of the desested vities are hard to get to, or have to ahve annoying quests to get to them. The ghost port is good becasue of the furnace :)
March 21, 200719 yr Yeah i think people would stay where they already are but in greater numbers. Also, imagine the crowds at blue dragons, metal dragons, demons, etc. Dragon Drops: D spear x 2, D skirt, D half-shield, D axe, D 2hBarrows Rewards: Ahrims hood, Karil's Coif, half key x 6, D med, torags legs, veracs flail
March 21, 200719 yr I think it'd be better if they made two specific merchanting servers ( F2p, and P2p, mind you. ) And apart from those, only be able to play on like..two other servers. I think it would help..we could easily have a Tip.it server. Ftw. Maybe, maybe..it would spread out the number of people on each server, so there aren't say...always full servers ( World 2, 18. ) and always extremly low servers ( World 115, 53.. ) |Msg me me in-game | IrreIephant| ^ capital i
March 21, 200719 yr I hope the server capacity isn't doubled because it would be harder for abyss rcers like me. And empty can mean big xp or cash. I understand why this is brought but usually somehow the best xp givers are left out in the cold except for people who actually use it (Sorceresses Garden) We should euthanize anyone who lacks the capability to contribute to society in any way. Please don't elect this man for president in 2012
March 21, 200719 yr It wouldn't make more people play the game, would it? It would get more people on world 2 and 1... And other worlds that normally are 'full'. But just increasing the limit doesn't mean the actual player amount on the servers would increase... In fact it would decrease. Example... Right now there are 419 Players or world 39. If we increased the cap to 4000, would there then be 838 players?
March 21, 200719 yr exactly, you can make a crop of vegetables but you can't crop up people after a server upgrading in the amount of people. We should euthanize anyone who lacks the capability to contribute to society in any way. Please don't elect this man for president in 2012
March 21, 200719 yr Most people just don't know what those places are, such as Keldagrim. Whats keldagrim  Personally I think Runescape would "blow up" if you will if they expanded the world size....ugg Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!
March 21, 200719 yr I'll say it again in a short and simple way.. If the cap is raised, the population will only increase on servers that normally are full, and need expansion. And on the other hand, people who would want to use the full servers go to them instead, decreasing the population of the 'normal' servers. Increasing the gap wouldn't make more people play; there's still room on the current servers...
