How did your first barrows run go? I just tried one, and it went so..so... horribly! I go in, get by Karil and Dharok, 3 lobbies used (Big mistake on the food choice....), however, I got smacked around big-time by Torag and Verac, and had 3 lobs for the tunnels (I was using the no p pot method, by the way). I got lucky and had guthan in the tunnels, but that's where my luck ended... double brother spawn! I safespot one quickly, kill it and run away. I'm left with 12hp, got smacked a lot while running for the safespot. I make it to the tunnel with 11 hp, I get the puzzle wrong :wall:. Then I get hit by a 10, by a skelaton, I'm redbarred, and I go "Awww crap, there goes the armour, runes and pots."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I died, so now I'm going to quit runescape.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nah, just kidding. Ring of life teled me out at 1 hp. ROL FTW! :D

Mine went well, although I got nothing. I used iban blast and prayer back before verac could hit through. It wasn't cost-efficient or quick, but I just wanted to do one trip with my friend before he quit (about 9 months ago)

I cant wait for my first run... dont quit the game just because a couple pixels... now its time for some more skilling, everything has a reason to happen and you movealong with your life.

Right under he said "I died so now I'm going to quit Runescape" in small letters, he said that his ring of life teleported him out at 1 HP. He's not actually quitting (also not the happy smiley)...

i couldnt fidn the stupid puzzle door and almost died ring of life saved me i got better and now im pro

My third or so run however, didn't went as good. Lagged a bit while fighting Dhaork, ran out of prayer, and next thing you know Dharok's tomb is filled with rotten pasta. :cry:

yeah, like nick, mine went smooth as well, but very very long. I used runehq's very stupid method of door searching, instead of just trying to find the open one in the center :roll: , so that took me a bit. That was back when karil=sinch, and verac=no hitty through prayery.

My very first run went horrible. It tuck me like 45mins and I got nothing. Couldn't figure out how to open the door. Kepted getting attacked by stupid monsters. I hated it :evil:

Dont give up cause u lost some rune armour. I lost whip, glory, runes, obby shield, karil top and skirt. And Im still doing barrows. I learned my lesson to always pray on Karil and sale eat when i can. Dont be afraid to leave and come back.

I wore mystic armor and prayer on all of the brothers to get the hang of it, thought it was pretty easy and fun... did it again for the 2nd time and got a Torag's Platebody. :D

to scare to try it...also waiting till 55 slayer

Mine was good, i went well prepared.

 

 

 

And then i started going twice a day just for fun, and then verac killed me and i havent been back

cannoning and dharok in tunnels

 

 

 

he hit me for a 56, then i healed and he hit me for a 40 something

 

 

 

died but i got bak stuff

Honostly most people don't remember.

Ive had my revenge thousands of times over now 8-)

I brought 8 ppots ( 4 dose ) and earth-blasted all the brothers, I only brought a few swordies.

Once I got my spade I went back and went to dharok, I wa praying so I didn't know why people thought he was so tough. Until he was red barred and thought he was dead, *turn off prayer* *boom! 56!* luckily I killed him with my spell right afterwards.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

then I did verac, before the fix, easy. Then torag, easy. Then Karil, wasted more runes than I wanted. Then Guthan, easy.

I still had 4 prayer pot doses left :lol: so I was safe, but I ranged him with rune arrows, pretty fun.but it literally took me 25 mintues to get to the chest, I couldn't figure out how to answer the puzzles fast enough, because I was being attacked by monsters, I saw about every puzzle 10 times and knew the answer to each, but never could I click it fast enough.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I open the chest, put my magic spellbook up, search the chest, tele as fast as I could, I brought extra runes so I ended up teleing from barrows to camelot, to camelot, to camelot, to camelot. :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But... Verac's Brassard! (worth 2.2M at the time). I quickly screenied and thanked the person who's guide I used so I bought a whip with the money + more of my own, and trained attack up to 70 from then on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(also stupid me got the whip lured the day after I got 70 attack)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now I've also gotten a dharock's body, this weekend. I now use slayer dart, range, and melee for karil. And I use 8 sharks and 0-3 prayer doses (3 rarely, and up to 2 depending on my tunnel)

Wasn't too bad for ghetto barrows (Fire Bolt)

 

 

 

Only had to make one bank trip too

First run I ever went, my friend actually did for me. It went fairly well and it was a lot easier to understand how to "barrow" when you watch someone else.

 

 

 

But my second one almost ended disastrously, when we got Dharoks as the tunnel brother and him hitting a high 30 and me barely living.

Wel i tried it the other day. Pretty much everything whent wrong, first i forgot spade. The i forgot to put prayer on fighting dharock. I was like, wtf howd he hit me. After wasting all my food on toag and ahrim, i decided to skip verac and karil and go straight to the chest. It was karil btw. After running around i the tiunnels for a while i finnaly found the chest. i open the chest and karil hit 2 18's in a row on me. I have 4 hp left and telle to varrock. got 300gp and some mind runes

my first run i got hit a 21 by guthan and died. but i showed him 30 runs later(today) i stole his spear :twisted:
