AirlessWig
Last week i got 8 axes, various rings, guess you just aren't lucky. I did 3 trips on 18 or so without a special kingdrop and my best trip was 4 items, so i don't think they are nerfed. Just some bad lucks perhaps? JimmyMcNabb
Thanks Jagex nerf the fun stuff before I get to it. Just like how you made Karil a steroid user before I got to him. why would someone using a crossbow need steroids? Surely he'd just have to be on amphetamines to make him fire faster? :
m4tty
in 3 duo trips with my m8 ive gotten: 1st 1 me mage my friend melee: i got zerker, friend got 2 archers. 2nd 1 me mage my friend melee: i got zerker, friend got axe and archer. 3rd 1 me melee my friend mage: i got axe, archer and seercull and my friend got nothing. i think its just luck/bad luck :\ i went like 5 trips without a drop before this but recently have been having good trips. Soma2035
Alright, after my 4th trip of nothing last night im fairly convinced of a rex drop nerf. To the people thinking we make too much money, please, I spend over 700k a trip on supplies and risk going in 18m gear to noob lurers. I also stay there, sitting there for 2 and a half hours, sometimes 3, maging rex without logging out. Also, I have to pay attention the majority of the time because of all the lurers. I'm not sure what to do, I bought some more deaths and minds last night with some of the money from the g spear chest i got yesterday, but if the drops really are this bad, this consistent, then I am seriously reconsidering using Dag Kings as a money maker anymore. Good lord, I might have to...skill... :ohnoes: I believe nerfing money makers is bad to jagex because the only thing it does is make people resort to using illegal and wrong ways to making money. Nerf the drop odds of an item at barrows, the barrower goes to dag kings. Nerf the odds at Dag Kings and all the sudden the monster hunter has no where else to hunt for drops. Kq is out in my opinion, they nerfed her up a long time ago. All your left with for money making is...god...merchanting which is the most boring thing you could ever do. Defeats the whole purpose of playing a game because games are supposed to be ENJOYABLE. First... I thought you left TIF. And second, how do you manage to risk 18m of equipment? Unless you're DKing skulled? Guths Helm, Guths Spear, Infinite Boots... Ahrims top... that's really about all unless you're using infinite top and bottoms... Want to learn to Nex? Straw_Hat
solo'ing rex has always been hard imo even at 99 def up to 118 brew potted and 380+ range def the spinos have always given me a hard time forcing me to heal often on them i do find that dag kings are ridiculous money a trip that usually consists of 2 hybrids and 1 mage comes away with on average 6M in drops with 150+ kings killed between the three of us that's more money than any skills can get us in 2 hours Kaizoku
freckleballer42
I don't know whether or not kings are nerfed, but I went 12 trips WITHOUT a drop :wall: , (except rockshell plate). I went on 2 a month ago, and 10 in about a week soloing rex lasting 800 casts. I was wearing ring of wealth too. I did go 64 barrows trips dry when I started barrows. Maybe i just have VERY bad luck. ~bball

Leesters
I doubt its been "nerfed". Some trips are harder than others. Mostly I find it depends on the spino cycle. If they hide when you're idle, and blast you when your casting, they make it really hard. But if its the other way around, it goes real smooth. I haven't noticed a difference. Just remember that solo'ing rex is a slow process and you can't really get a consistant average killing a small number at a time. Over the long run, it seems to be fairly normal. I have a great idea on lurers. A team should be able to "lock the ladder" once their in. This would take luring out of the game. A circus in Runescape?? Oh my. REMEMBER RUNESCAPE KARMA! Be a nice player, and nice things will come back to you.I'm back, add me if you deleted me. :)

deangut
First comment: Drops haven't been nerfed. Just people running into bad luck. Or should I say they are nerfed too so less people go to DK's so prices will go up? Either way I don't play for money and it's fun to go.. I went on 2 trips with nothing then last 2 trips Got 4 Zerkers 3 axes Seers and archer. So not too bad COmment 2: Leester.. They would have to make it so 2 of the 3 DK's are being attacked for door to be locked. This would allow people to solo rex in peace. This would be terrible for 2 reasons (1) WOuld lock up all the worlds and DK teams would suffer (2) Prices of those rings and axes would see the wrath same as the hip. But I do like the idea of Some sort of Anti Lure update @ - Come Join SoDB in Some GWD and other Slaying! - @
elite17xx
Yes i have noticed it ...... my trips have been REALLY bad recently and the stupid dagannoth just doesn't want to drop dragon axes anymore..... The only good consistent money makers in the game are merchanting, pvp, and killing monsters ( 85 slayer, barrows, and that includes dagannoth kings)... Most of rs find merchanting boring and don't like it. not good enuf at it)... pvp is too risky and very often you'll end up losing alot of cash .....( im talking about staking here.... pking isnt much of a money maker.. it is more for fun).. therefore, the rest of the rs population resort to skills or monster killing ( fun and good money)... now that dagannoth kings are ruined, there's not much left to do for money in rs other than skilling or staking :|
Trojann2
Anti Lure will make ALL prices of drops go WAY DOWN. When I solo they're easy enough to kill right now anyways. Just run north and south when the lurer follows you. They get hit by Supreme and Rex. Die Hard and Fast. mrmyk
Can't say for sure, i went with one of my friends for my first dk trip and it was fruitless. When i was ranging prime alone, i was getting hit so easily until i almost have no choice but to on steel skin to save some brews that me! yeah..my first trip got 2 zerkers and axe within 500 casts but recently ive had nothing in like 3 trips Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements

Kenshinjapan
I sent these in last week and I got these replys ME: Did the dagganoth king drops get "nurfed"? (Have a less likely chance to drop rings/axes). Thanks JAGEX: Dear Kenshinjapan, Thank you for contacting Jagex about drops. I can assure you that we have made no changes to the chances of receiving these drops. If you are having trouble obtaining a particular drop, the best way to improve your chances is simply to try again - you will meet with success sooner or later! I hope this helps - do write back in if you have any further questions, and good luck! Yours truly, Mod Gabriel ------------------------ And here a second message I wrote ME: Did the dag kings get nurfed? ( more concerned over rex) JAGEX: Greetings Kenshinjapan, Thank you for your question regarding the mighty Dagannoth Creatures. However, as far as we are aware, all the Dagannoth creatures are of the same fearsome strength they have always been. I suspect that you must be a mighty warrior who is not aware of his own strength! Many an adventurer has fallen to these monstrous beasts, but you must be able to kill them as if they were goblins!
