Mercifull
There is a steriotype accent which some camp people sound like but its not exclusively homosexual nor do all homosexuals sound like it. warri0r45
Homosexual accent. Funniest one in my opinion. There is no such thing. How do you define an accent then? By that you mean there's a particular "stereotypical" way in which gays decide to talk but its not an accent? :? You can have gays with a pommy accent, with a yank accent, with an asian (sorry for the generalisation there, to any asians) accent, with a russian accent, with a german accent, french, italian, etc, etc. 'Gay' is not an accent. One definition of sorts could be that an accent is aquired by the language you speak and the subsequent barriers it puts on your tounge to pronounce words of other languages (well, generally; there would be other factors, I'm sure). Lovelydude
I can do the best Australian accent ;P When you try and sound Australian, extend your vowels, but don't drone. Also, emphasise important consonants, like t, s (but don't slur or hiss), and always make a strong "aah" sound (not held though) when pronouncing a, after a consonant. angryjoe
You say english accent but there are so many. Im guessing you mean 'the queen's english' but that is all posh and gay. Tha best accent tha can 'ave is Yorkshire lad. But yeh theres yorkshire, scouse, geordie and like cornish kinda thing. The worst by far though is that bloody essex cockney bollocks. But what you should do is a Welsh accent. Say your name is something like 'Gareth Llwellyn' and your 'from the valleys'

tomdavies90
I think british accents are the coolest =P. I might study abroad somewhere like London so maybe I can work on getting an authentic one for myself ;). british accent is a weird one because it massivey varies wherever you are around the country, American is a bit like this with Texas having bush style and other americans other styles, but British is probably the most varied, i would call myself normal really lol, not pip pip old chap, seriously don't talk like that anyone talking like that is obviously not from england, try irish i find it my most fluent one to fake, i can also do indian, german, russian, american a bit, chinese, welsh, scottish a bit, jamaican, and french probably some more, i can do a lot, my best way to fake accents is to get the accent into my head, think of a sterotypical sentence from the accent, e.g irish- top o'the morning to the ya, indian-would you be interest in double glazing mr davies, etc Sig by me.... Blipo
Not meaning to be homophobic or anything, but gay accents really startle subs. ^^ My friend used to do a hilarious "stereotypical Asian accent". Doing one of those would get a big laugh, although it wouldn't last long.
Viktorkrum77
Eastern European and Middle Eastern seem to scare some Subs... lol, and its also good to say a fake name, my class did that to a teacher and then when he talked to the rest of the teachers using our names they were like ??? "I am Stanislav, vat ve are doing today? Ve must correct da homevork, no?" You can also use "f" as in, "fey" (they) and "fe" (the) for Czech. The above can be German and or Eastern European, remember, they never use "a's" when speaking English, I would know, I've talked to two daily (one Czech, one Slovenian) for 3 years now. Conjugations as well are limited. Past tense words like "came" seem nonexistent also. In regards to British, my favorite is "tosser". :P Me doing staff.
