The Happiest Day of my Life

Tho I don't know you, I'm glad everything is turning out well. I had this thought that maybe it was a test to test your love with your girlfriend i.e. Would you break up over illness and serious problems but you seem to cope rather well =]

Marry her? <3:

All the best in the future O:)

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

Nice to hear you're doing alright again, homie. :P

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

I'm glad to hear things have taken a turn for the better. You'll never walk alone ;-)

Bad things happen to good people.

Great things happen to great people who used to be good people.

And things can change quickly.

I think Bubsa's been promoted to great. I'm happy to here all that, hopefully things will get even better. ::'

I can definitely relate, Bubs. I was just given the clear from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma about a month ago after about a year of radiation and chemotherapy, so I know how good it feels to put something like that behind you. I hope that everything stays well for her and for you from here on :)

Awww Bubs... :( I had no idea you'd been through all of that. :(

I can't even imagine my boyfriend having cancer. Much less having to deal with all of that while having a kidney disease. You must have been so scared for your girlfriend. I just can't even imagine that feeling.

However, I do know how it feels to be completely in love with someone. :D And I know that two people who are truly in love with each other can overcome anything together. For the two of you to go through so much and still love each other, you guys definitely have a good future ahead of all of you. ^_^ But, I'm sure you don't have to hear me say that.

I'm very happy for the both of you. ^_^

That is very very touching and its really great she recovered :D

Never take life too seriously, nobody gets out alive.

:D I'm glad that you're doing so fine now! Especially for your girlfriend! It's very hard times. Make the best out of it, I don't think I need to tell you that though. :P

Finally, a change from those constant "Worst day of my life," "big brothers suck," and the like threads.

Something that actually matters instead of overexageration and depressing thoughts from emo people who actually think they have it bad when they are so damn lucky.

You shouldn't compare people's misery though. But let's drop it.

I thought the same, but you can make a big difference. Being that someone who's there for that person when they need them the most, while as the friend we may not truly comprehend, we are shown by the love and friendship we receive from the person in need. Basically, it may not seem much, but being there for someone is the gift that they wish for.

Sounds great. I'm glad she's feeling better and you could make a difference.

hehe i should give the kid contomplating suicide because his moms tires got slashed a link to this thread

on topic:congrats

You have been through a lot bubsa! wow, for awhile there life must have seemed pretty hopeless, but you got through it, and you are better now. As said before, we should post links to this thread in the threads talking about peoples stupid problems.

Damn, never realised that you were going through all that

But it's great to hear things are looking up for you both :)
