Finally, it is with a heavy heart that I must announce that this will be my last News Announcement for Tip.It. After nearly two years at the helm, I am stepping down as Crew Leader. It's been an enjoyable two years, and I hope that we've been able to meet (or even exceed!) your gaming needs during that time. We've developed a number of innovative and useful new features over the past two years, and I must say that none of it would have been possible without the support and assistance of the entire Tip.It staff. I'd like to particularly thank the Tip.It Crew for a job well done. As I've always said, "a team is a team, and everyone's contributions are important. It's only by working together as a team that we can ensure that Tip.It continues to be one of the best RuneScape fansites on the web today."

 

 

 

With that being said, I'd like to formally introduce misplacedme as your new Crew Leader. I'm certain I'm sure he'll do a great job as Leader, and he will continue to bring you the new and exciting content you've all come to expect.

Just popped in to tie up some loose ends, and what a nice surprise to see this topic. Thanks to you all for the kind words. I will be taking a few months off to see to some personal matters (don't worry, nothing scary, I'm trying to sell my house so I can get a bigger one!), but I will probably be back sometime in the late fall. But not as Crew Leader - as an Admin or a Mod. And of course, that's if the Admins will have me, lol!

As previously announced by grin_king on 25th September, Eeeeediot has recently stepped down as Crew Leader and I have been asked to take over. First, I'd like to thank the Tip.It Admins for this wonderful opportunity, and I'd like to wish Eeeeediot well on all his future endeavours. I'd like to reassure all of you that although Eeeeediot has left some mighty big shoes to fill indeed, I welcome the opportunity to rise to the challenge. I remember when she made this post, and it didnt seem like it was so long ago. Kiara you filled Eeeeediot's shoes and then some, you have done an outstanding job and you will be greatly missed by everyone, especially long time users such as myself!!!!

I'm just sad that Kiara is leaving, things just wont be the same without her. :(

I know I haven't actually met or talked to you that much, but I'd like you to know what a difference you've made at this site. You were always dedicated, kind, and responisble if we came to you with a question, and were always willing to help someone if they needed it. You certainly were part of making this community the success that it is today. So it is now our turn to give back to you - I think it comes from every Tip.Iter out there when we say; Thank you Kiara for being such a brilliant Crew Leader, and we wish you well in all the endeavors you chose to take.

Although Kiara did emphasise the team aspect in her post, I'm sure she won't mind being thanked for all the improvements that she has helped to bring to Tip.It while she has been leader.

 

 

 

Growing the Crew to what it is now and successfully managing them to keep everything running smoothly takes a lot of time, dedication, effort and skill. We've also seen the item database, the huge number of new quest guides, maps and calculator updates.

 

 

 

Kudos on being a great crew leader for almost 21 months :D

 

 

 

ps - staying on as admin or what does the future hold?
