June 19, 200719 yr They ARE tradable, if they do not have any dragonfire charges. I know, as I had a clan friend smith mine. Also, its general store price is an orgasmic 800k. That is like 10x anything else \ Here is a pic of me wearing it, with the maximum defense bonuses possible nix a Fire Cape. Thats not the maximum. Dragon Long gives a small defence bonus :o You can also use defensive blackjacks from the rogue trader minigame. They give lots of crush bonus. Retired from RuneScape for as long as possible.

June 19, 200719 yr Maybe but its possible the magic defence still has dropeped, effectively nerfing the shield. Also it now has 0 str when uncharged instead of 7.. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.
June 19, 200719 yr So jagex nerfed it. Then realized everyone was gonna run into jagex HQ with bombs strapped to thier chests, so they changed it back and denied it. Sounds like jagex allright...
June 19, 200719 yr People have said it never had 7 strength when uncharged in the first place, it was just a knowledge base error. Which they corrected, and made another error in the process.

It never had 7 strength uncharged, it was 0, but apparantly said 7 in knowledge base...while fixxing knowledge base they messed up again. The shield still has 7 str fully charged.

June 20, 200719 yr I love this update, not only because of the updates contents but because of the amount of people at the metal dragons. Half of them just leave the d bones and some of the drops. If you just take monk robes, fire staff/runes, nats, energy pots and a few super att/str and p pots, its free prayer and mage exp with some great free items.
