For those of you who are new around here, a bit of history: The Dragonfire Shield was what the Anti Dragon shield was called originally, but this led people to sell tons of them to unsuspecting newbs who were lured in by the fact that the name was so cool. By changing it to the Anti Dragon Shield, they made it clear that this shield was only effective against dragons. But now they've added a brand new shield more worthy of such a great name. Is having this shield vs not having it really going to equal out to the benefit of the money you paid? I think not. Whoever said I was jealous, get a clue. Thinking I cant afford something just because I think it looks like the stupidest elite item jagex has created to date is a pretty noob move. You can feel free to meet me in game, then say whatever you want about me not being able to buy one and being jealous. It was a nice idea and the shield itself is pretty sweet, but the looks are crap and for the rarity, if i found one I would have no problem selling it to someone who thinks +20 defence over current shields and a little extra str bonus is worth that much money. The special, yeah thats nice but you use it in a fight and the stats go down making it junk. Then you get to go back and charge it again. The uncharged version is tradable too (so that the smither can give it back :XD:), but once you charge it with dragonfire you must unleash its special before trading it again.
