Kharil - got a use? Ahrim -pking? Just been wondering what uses they actually had, maybe not the full set just parts, help would be apreciated! You can't really say anything is better than anything else. They're different. The rune crossbow is still slower than karils, as is the dark bow, despite shooting two arrows at a time. The crystal bow has always been a contender with karil's crossbow as has the msb. They all have their own uses so one is not outrightly better than another. Croziers-Duelling Salamanders-Duelling Furies-Duelling Cbows-Duelling Dds-Duelling Basically anything thats best of its type (e.g torags best def) is good for duelling-which includes barrows special effects. armadillo48 Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 Karils full set isn't the most useful, but the top and bottom are my armour of choice in castle wars due to the huge magic bonus and the weapon is great for pking, hits fast and hard. Veracs is my barrows method of choice, means all runes are pure profit. Dharoks is fun at fight pits and makes for good strength training on ape atoll. Guthan-Slayer and afk at bandits. Dharok-Pking, strength training, Giant mole hunting. Karil-Good mage and range defense and looks better than black hide. Ahrim-Pking, staking, mage training. Torag's is excellent for a relatively cheap, good set of armor; Verac's, as many people say, is excellent for KQ, staking, and in general any time in which decent def and a prayer boost is required; Guthan's is excellent for slayer and DKs, two amazing moneymakers; Dharok's is actually an excellent str training set, and an amazing pking/DMing tool; Ahrim's is all-around essential for anyone who even hopes to hybrid seriously, no matter where they are in the wilderness. All of the sets have the general purpose of being excellent, relatively cheap pieces of armour with an added bonus of a special effect. Stunning signature created by the one and only My Boggy.
