lewagold2
What kinds of threads do you like to read? What kinds do you like to post on? Why do you like threads such as these? I like threads that have educated people having large discussions. But, that's just me. ^Clicky for Q Cape Blog^MY SIGGIE AND BANNER SHOP
shade1234
I like long reads which have a meaning behind them and not just some random gibberish. I also like a thread where it requires a fair bit of thought to reply without making yourself look like a fool : Thanks Yaff2 for the sig^,^
Marco
A topic needs substance in order to be discussed, there's no point making one in the discussion forums if it can be all said from a single person's reply. I know that I hate almost every thread which would have typically single line replies though, pointless in my mind. The topic starter also needs to provide enough information in the first post for there to be a discussion, and if it's the kind of thread that gets updated, then of course it's always nice if the topic starter is the kind of person that knows how to edit posts and use BBCode. If you want good thread examples then check out the Off-Topic board.
Danqazmlp
^+1 I just like threads that have meaning. I don't like the threads that are super popular. Want to be my friend? Harrington
Anything that invites more than one post per forum user i.e. anything that starts a meaningful conversation. :)
d3nic
Threads that actually have room for debate and discussion... Not ones like "~~~@@@@@@@@@@@@ LOL FUNNIEST RUNESCAPE NAMES U EVA SAW?!?!~~~@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@"
baalboy5
I like a good topic that has a better question then just a simple answer you know with though Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored.
caldius
I like threads that reveal information that i may not know. Whether its a guide for the new update or a complex break down with maths of how some existing system works. Ussually Im not big on threads that ask peoples opinion, ironicaly like this one, but my hope is that if people read this then the quality of posting will go up. highlanders
Communication/discussion I hate topics in which everyone just leave their block of text/opinions then goes away, without quoting or having any discussions going on. A little like when you talk to someone. Most topics are so impersonal. 2480+ total
Screechingmu
I actually don't like threads like these. I more enjoy ones with a long and interesting story with a few laughs. Or perhaps an in depth look at something in runescape. Sort of like the Tip-it times I guess :). My Guide to Killing Green Dragon Autoers

jemathonical
Decent ones that have some conversation and different opinions. The threads I hate seeing are the ones that predict things. "New quest coming because I examined a bone etc" and the "Your favourite monster" and ones like that. ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it! lchaosl
Threads where I learn something new that could help me alot. I don't like threads that are "what is your favorite" or "has this happened to you" They are just boring to read.
