July 25, 200718 yr I'm Christian, but I read works and writings from other religions like taoism, confuscinism (sp?), buddhism and shintoism(eastern religions ftw). one's mind becomes stale when knowledge from one perspective is used too much. Howver I do have beliefs, which is basically that anyone can believe what they want and stop there, and I will respect them. However if you try to force your beliefs upon someone else, then I will come down on you. That is probably why I do not like Catholicism and Christianity. From what I have learned through history classes, they forced their religion, at a minimum, upon the Native Aboriginals in North America. I mean no offense by what I have said and I have tried to pick my words carefully so as not to offend anyone. Couldn't've said it better myself. FYI, the post I quoted is below me.

A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

July 25, 200718 yr Catholic. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.
