I didnt make those maps I got them from Wikipedia and it was the best I could find to illustrate my point. Richard Dawkins has a better one but its from his 91 lectures and isnt online.

I really don't think he is a Muslim though.

:? Why would you say that?

Because he doesn't say "Allahu Akbar!" after everything.

I kid. :P

A follower of Islam is called a Muslim, so there's no reason to not believe him for calling himself a Muslim...

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm Christian, but I read works and writings from other religions like taoism, confuscinism (sp?), buddhism and shintoism(eastern religions ftw). one's mind becomes stale when knowledge from one perspective is used too much.

I'm Catholic but with a couple of different viewpoints

Btw, I'm Catholic too

I have no religion, basically labeling me as an atheist. Howver I do have beliefs, which is basically that anyone can believe what they want and stop there, and I will respect them. However if you try to force your beliefs upon someone else, then I will come down on you. That is probably why I do not like Catholicism and Christianity. From what I have learned through history classes, they forced their religion, at a minimum, upon the Native Aboriginals in North America.

I mean no offense by what I have said and I have tried to pick my words carefully so as not to offend anyone.

Couldn't've said it better myself. FYI, the post I quoted is below me.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

No, no it's not.

After you die you become part of the earth. You become part of a tree. and with that tree you'll be turned into paper! With that paper we'll use to make The Bible.
