I had noticed he wasn't anywhere, but I also hadn't looked for him in years so I wasn't sure.

 

 

 

I felt really old-school when the person in the "What would you say to your level 3-self" friend used the phrase, "stepped off tutorial island" as the only option of starting the game. Who needs tutorial island? My little deathlord552 just magically appeared in Lumbridge one day to try his luck at getting an iron dagger spawn at the goblin house, and he's been my character ever since. :D

- when seeing any colored cape reminds you of dye being introduced in draynor, and the hundreds of people trying to make dye for a profit.

 

- when you remember equiping rune armor and long sword at lvl 3 ;)

 

- when you remember no one could smith rune 2h

 

- when you remember r2h was worth 2m

 

- when you remember no one was lvl 123

 

- when you remember slivernake (if i remember correctly) autoed to 99 range and was banned (first 99 range though!)

- if you remember when there were 2 servers with a maximum of 250 (or was it 255?) people per server :P

 

 

 

Snake had two accounts, both 99 range. He was banned for autoing, then flew to jagex HQ to prove that their auto detection simply picked up his german translator as a third party program, and that he didn't really auto.

 

 

 

And got un-banned. ;)

You must be talking about the start of RS2, because RS1 was plagued by autoers.

Oh, I remember one. The goblin house near river Lum was FULL of people cooking fish. And you still go there looking for people cooking food.

I remember my friend going on about this online game and he was like totally addicted because they just added this cool thing called the wilderness where you could actually :shock: kill other players.
