July 25, 200718 yr 43 in void now, compared to an even 40. 44 with my str gear. perhaps 46ish with fire cape and dfire. From the max hit calc i'd judge the new max hit with whip in castle wars to be about 53. the max hit with a mace in castle wars is in the 63-66 range, my friend could hit 60-61 before the update how, i max like 52(pre-prayer), and lack a fire cape and dfire, that +6 str boost must make a difference.

July 25, 200718 yr Hmm, I like the new prayer bonus, but it drains prayer points like a pope on a mission lol... I ain't spending any more prayer pots on something like this when doing regular slaying or hunting... the only use I can think of is on quest monsters or minigames.

July 25, 200718 yr Lol. Not if the meleer puts on hides/karils and dds specs the mage. Well who would be stupid enough to bring only 1 combat type in the wild. If he puts on hides, you put on rune and dds him. Just like if hes in robes, and switches for rune. Your not gunna range him? You switch to mage.

July 25, 200718 yr Wow, that's immense! 52 with an Abyssal Whip and with the Piety Prayer is a deadly combo :shock:. Seeing as you can hit 50's with Range, I think that's balanced between those two. But Magic still hits around 32 with Ice Barrage. So it's still far away from the 50's which the other two Combat styles are reaching. I feel that the damage which the Combat styles are doing is far too much, when comparing them with the maximum level of Hitpoints. So, that part is slightly ruined, unless they came round to increasing the HP Level. Other then that, it seems like a very useful update! :wink:. - Honoured :. July 25, 200718 yr nice hits, but rangers get a good bow with a good spec and they decide to let melee overpower the triangle once again... i dont buy that one bit, every1 cries about their combat thing that is their favorite or easiest to use or cheapest or whatever... i see it as, magic has 3 spell books its been over powered for some time. give range a couple of good updates and a few weeks of overpowering abilities, then hit melee up with a good boost. perhaps in 3months magic might get another killer update...summoning?

July 25, 200718 yr I dunno if this'll help pures, because piety requires 70 defence. Exactly. I think this prayer turns the tables on pures just a bit... We have a good prayer, that takes less pray points than using ultimate strength and incredible reflexes, and also gives def. New max hits, and less them hitting you. and pures won't be able to use it, as just doing the quest requires 65 def. I think this was a good update, but that's just a meleers opinion. Noted raw mackerel drop... Wtfh? Always buying: Watermelon seeds, 2K each. Strawberry seeds, 800 each. Contact Via PM on forums.

Now, prepare to see lots of "Barrows Pures" -.- rune pures were never pures in the first place, they were hybrids. at least, the old definition. of course, if there ever becomes a "barrow pure" then a lot more people would be considered pures because a lot of people stop training defense at 70. which doesn't make any sense to me but oh well.
