Slayer, though its probably the most enjoyable skill to train isn't considered as a good money making skill. The fact that their is no steady, calculable, income per-hour, makes most people turn to less-exciting skills for their living.

 

There are certain (magical :D ) moments however were fun meets money, and a single slayer task covers up for dozen of poor slayer hours.

 

I had one few months ago, didnt manage to excel it since.

 

3 whips and 200k clue in a 90 minutes task ~= 5.5 mil

 

Which is not bad, but i am sure there are better stories out there (visage,3rd age items, whips back from they day they were 5 mil)

Since my slayer is pretty pathetic I cant really kill any slayer monsters with good drops, but I had a hellhound clue that gave me Sara plate, Rune Legs, Zammy coif, and Purple Sweets. which is like 1.3m

I got a kalphite assignment, and wanted to try my new black mask against the queen. Sure enough, on my first kill, i got a d chain. 8-)

Lot's of good clues from hellhounds which have probably made me most of the money I have.

Usually my best tasks are abberent specters from the herbs and lava staffs. But i usually get a minimal profit with the alchable rune items.

Probably just a whip, i'm not to lucky with drops.

i think it was greater demons when i got a black cav from a clue :)

52 slayer here, so no big story's.

 

 

 

Best would be a rune scimitar and dragon shield left half of fire giants task.

 

 

 

Most surprising would be brine rats, a small task of only 70 of them got me 100 lobs and 60 sharks (both raw). Not much money wise, but I didn't expected anything worth cash at all, but that turned out otherwise.

80 slayer going for 85 slayer but yes i havent got many "fantastic" drops but i have had my fare share of drops( which was once net worth of 10m)...but now im going to get that 85 slayer-> get 5 whips-> sell them and back to my clan i go :-)

My best was 3 glod mystic gloves 3 drops in a row, sold them 50k each.

 

 

 

Not too bad for a minutes work, considering how bad my combat stats are, and my slayer.

ive gotten 2 d-meds on a fire giant task and d legs on an iron dragon task

was 177 gr8 demons.

So far the best thing i got of a slayer task is whens i was killing pyrefiends which had a lvl 2 clue that gave me a pair of ranger boots and str ammy (t)

I hope you realise that 3 whips in a 100-200 abby demon task is extremely exceptional?!

 

 

 

I never had more than 1 per task and feel lucky when I average 1 out of 4-5 tasks.. So, don't count on better stories for 'normal' slayerdrops.. Ofcourse the 'once in a lifetime ' clue reward is what keeps us slayers going... (at least im still hoping for a 3rd age kite instead of some nats&sharks&rune long..... :wall: )

Hmm, it depends, I'll say mine for clues from a task and just a task

 

 

 

Clues: I got 5 from one mission of Hellhounds and I got a ton of Rune stuff, Rune G Legs, and a Tan Cav

 

 

 

Drops: From one mission of Fire Giants I got 4 Rune Scimmys, 2 Half Keys, 2 Fire Battlestaffs, and a lot of runes

2 whips an abyssal head and a 300k clue was probably my single best task. i've had 2 nech tasks where i've had 2 rune boots in 2 kills before too :D

i've never had a good drop on assignment...

 

best was probably black mystic gloves from a banshee assignment. i get the good stuff when i'm not on tasks

Multiple two/three whip abby tasks. Last two tasks each gave two whips.

2 whips, 1k pure essence, and a clue from abbies was my best.

 

 

 

Kind of off topic: Just got over a dry streak of 21 abby tasks without a whip yesterday 8-)

hellhounds are the most possible to get a huge profit due to their high drop rate from clues. :) however my favroite tasks are the good exps.

A clue of 1.5m from ? made me a quick buck once.

 

But with only 61 slayer, I can't really say I got really rich once. I think all the clues add up bit by bit.

 

 

 

Heck, coin drops made the most money I think. Every task between 3k-10k coin drops. Each task being 9k slayer experience. Having 500k slayer experience..

 

 

 

500/9 x 6500 = 361k in just coin drops from slayer I think averaged.
