I like patience, open-mindedness, thoughtfulness, kindness and understanding. I like a guy who isn't afraid to show or talk about his emotions, and is supportive. I tend to go for guys who are talkative and extroverted because I tend to be the opposite. However, I don't like it when a guy just can't seem to sit still and shut up.

 

 

 

I'm a hopeless romantic. :( I think romance can be both planned as well as spontaneous. And I like a guy who can do a little bit of both. I also like a guy who isn't afraid to put me on a pedestal and spoil me, but not too much. :P I like a guy to be a bit stubborn because I think I tend to be a bit dominating. I also like guys who are physical and cuddly. ^_^ I'm a pretty physical person in relationships. I need to be reminded every now and then that I'm pretty and important. :P I also like to be left alone from time to time and have my quiet "me" time and I like guys who don't loom over my shoulder all the time.

 

 

 

I'm also a very jealous person. :( I hate it, but I am. It takes me a long time to build trust and it's very easy to destroy my trust. Loyalty is probably the number one quality I look for in a guy. I will not put up with being cheated on.

Basically.. everything I've ever wanted in a guy = my boyfriend

 

 

 

I've never been particularly picky on appearances, I don't think. I've usually preferred guys with darker hair, length doesn't really matter. I've never been a fan of incredibly muscular bodies.. it just never struck me as very cuddly :oops:

 

 

 

I like my guy to be romantic. I'd never want one of those guys who thinks they're 'so cool' and doesn't like being sweet to me around his friends. Several of the things that IGoddessI mentioned strike my interest as well. Someone who will openly try new things with me, go camping with me, sit under the stars and drink hot chocolate, will hold me close when I'm cold and when I'm not, who will let me hold him, and loves a variety of movies.

 

 

 

I take relationships very seriously. I don't have them "just for fun." I may have felt that way in like middle school, but I certainly don't anymore. I only date someone if I could truly imagine spending the rest of my life with them. I need someone who will be my best friend as well as my boyfriend. Someone who I can talk to about absolutely anything - even embarrassing strictly-girls-only things.

 

 

 

I always viewed a little bit of jealousy (for both parties) as a good thing. It can get a little excessive at times, but a little bit of jealousy proves to me that you really care about your boyfriend and/or that he cares about you (and is afraid to lose you).

 

 

 

While differences are sometimes good to have, I really want someone who agrees with me in the aspects of life that I hold a strong opinion towards (usually some of the random, controversial topics). While I think small differences are good to have, I feel that a couple should agree on most of the things that you have a strong opinion about (it may prevent any potential arguments that could become unfriendly/frustrating over time).

 

 

 

Probably most importantly, he can't be afraid to openly discuss our relationship - whether it's a positive or negative discussion. I want to be able to talk to him about anything that's on my mind (and the other way around as well - whatever is on his mind), whether it's about our relationship or something else.

 

 

 

And finally, I need a guy who can cook.. since I lack the capacity to do so \ It would be a fun activity to do together - him trying to teach me how to cook. Not sure how well it would turn out, but it's worth a try :)

This one's pretty important because I find it somewhat cutting if someone else knows something about her that I don't and then I find out from them. Think of the situation where a friend says, "Hahahaha I can't believe [your girlfriend] did that!" and you're left looking the fool saying, "Did what?".

Mmm physical-wise, I like my men muscley and lean with a nice six pac will do me. I like men who have a darker skin tone than me, preferably mixed race with black, who essentially look like my dad. I forgot what that complex is called. I don't mind if he's taller, or the same height considering I'm quite tall for a girl, hm thinking about it, actually not really that fussed over height. I like long hair if it's in an afro or braided or something of the sort, otherwise, short, or I feel like I'm dating a girl.

 

 

 

Otherwise, they have to be strongly ambitious and driven. Intelligent, funny, yada yada. Clingy is a no, I do not respond well to boys who won't let me do my own thing, or will insist on doing everything with me. This sounds strange but I like it when I am sometimes ignored, I respond well to "hard to get" so to speak, even in a long-term relationship. In the bedroom? Ha, the more adventurous the better, he's got to be able to keep up. Packing it as well. Why I'm telling this to the internet I'll never know. Oh God.

I don't know, it just kind of happens. I've fallend for females from a vast variety of "class", but ultimately I tend to go for females who aren't really suburia and more towards rural. Physically, It doesnt matter much how they look like, although i do prefer her to be fair skinned, and with either blond hair/blue eyes, or brown/red hair with brown yes (I only like black hair on Asian girls). I could care less about the body type though (Although i prefer athletic).

 

 

 

Personality wise, I look for things that are close to my own. I rather a girl who take enjoyment in helping people, rather then being a little princess and having to have everything spoon fed to her. I am not much for jealous girls, as i rather have freedom to go where ever, or to hang out with who ever I like, without having to call her ever hour or so (Previous experience is what influenced this).

 

 

 

About the "Good girl" type. Drinking/smoking turn me right off. There was a girl i liked back at my work, and we were getting along pretty well as friends. Not too short, seem to find quite a few of em here, I'm around 6'-6'1" tall at 17 in Singapore where the average height for an adult man is 5'7-8". Girls average at 5'3"-5", so I always stick out. It's very awkward to dance or hold hands or kiss when she's about a head and a half shorter.
