Thank god Chris made Ash, the protaganist, look androgynous; if he (or she...) wasn't it'd be near impossible thinking of him as anything but female (which would take a lot away from the comic). That, and it's nice that he looks androgynous for his relationship with Emily, such a cute little couple :P . The scenario makes it very interesting for them to try and get together, which really helps the story a great deal.

I'd do it but only for two weeks. Another condition would be that the girl can't be obese. I don't care too much about looks because looking at my own, new body wouldn't hold my interest for too long. I just don't want to have to know how it feels to be fat. I'd want an athletic-ish girl. At least around the size I am.

 

 

 

It would be interesting to experience life as a girl. See how they get treated differently for the better or worse.

Trapical, your posts are awesome. I'd do it for two weeks, just to understand why women are, they way they are. A lot of girls I know get mad at others for the smallest things, end relationships because of a boy who will only go out with both of them probably for a duration of a week. I don't do anything that girls normally do, I mean how they react to things. Maybe if I was a chick it would be a different story? I dunno.

This reminds me of a dream I had. Some wizard coaxed me into being transformed into a female for a day via magic. He told me that he would give me a reward the following day if I went through with this and it would give me an opportunity to feel what it's like to be the opposite sex. I accepted and he made me kneel and face the opposite direction from him.

 

 

 

As soon as I did that, he casted a spell and I was violently knocked onto my side and every muscle and bone in my body started to change. I could feel my skin loosening and tightening and my genitals were changing as well. It was excruciating! (Yes, I actually felt pain.)

 

 

 

After I woke up, (I passed out from all the pain.) I noticed that my hair was longer, my face feminine, my body feminine, etc. I just took a few pictures of my face in the mirror and then I took a nap and that's when I really woke up. The dream was kind of amusing and was funny because I woke up before the wizard could reward me the next day. lol.

But yea, I totally agree with what you said. The author is a genius in the way he presents the story. Before I read it and had heard it was ranked in the top 10 webcomics, I was really skeptical. But after reading it I am going to have to agree. I would even say it would make a really good movie if done right. As for Abstract? Abstract's story isn't nearly as polished and the site is less professional (several artists, updates 3x a week instead of 5, etc) but Abstract has a lot more random humor. Well, moving on...

I know, I totally came across this with a lot of the people I talked to. Pretty strange, but I think it might have to do with the fact that you would really want to experience the situation, get your money's worth so to say. After the whole anatomy thing got boring after a little while I think most guys would want to go to someplace like a mall and just walk around wearing really, really chick-like things. Clothes that a guy could never, ever wear. Why would you want to spend your few days as a girl wearing jeans and t-shirt when you could wear a skirt and a halter top, and in addition be able to show off your new found goods? I think this phenomenon is only true if the change is temporary though. I think if you actually went through a permanent change you would subconsciously dress more tomboy-ish.

I sort of know what you mean. I think, in all honesty, that if out of some bizarre random ocurrance I was actually offered The Question, I would consider permanent. Let me restate, once again, I am as heterosexual as any guy I have ever met. But I don't know, I think even knowing of the disadvantages of being female (less pay, periods, have to worry about rape, childbirth, weaker physically, etc) I would still probably consider the option of permanent change simply because... I don't know. I honestly don't know, and that fact has really intrigued me. I think that was one of the reasons I did this survey, to see if I can find that answer. But regardless, in the meantime don't tell my gf what I just said :-$

Ya, I had to work for 6 hours today, but I'm past 500 right now :-w . Such a genius comic, I seem to keep on reading in anticipation of another double blush seen between Ash and Em :lol: . Those are the best, not because it's lez (cause it really isn't, and it's a comic for gods sake anyways) but because you want them to be a couple, but they never can >_<. That's kinda interesting how you can actually get your mind to think in that hypothetical of a situation. Actually, I bet that's another lone question you could ask someone and find out a lot about them. Weird how different minds work.

 

 

 

I am also quite impressed and very surprised that we can even have a conversation as obscure as 'what you would wear' without people running around and calling everyone gay. Why? I would dress the way the way the people of the same gender wear. I wouldn't wear any baggy jeans, big t shirts, or some basketball shorts. I'd probably wear some blue jeans, with a tight shirt and slip on shoes. That's practically what every girl wears at my school. Well I didn't mean you would dress like a guy, but I would think you would dress more modestly. I think most guys permanently stuck in a girls body would at first feel a little uncomfortable walking around in a miniskirt and tube top, if for no other reason than the fact that this would draw the attention of all the guys around you. But who knows, maybe you would want to do so in order to get used to it, after all it is you life from then on out. This is totally uncharted territory by the way, even my pseudo-survey doesn't have any data on how people would act in a permanent switch. :-s

If I changed genders for 2 weeks I would -Connection lost- attempting to re-establish- then I would -error-load-crash- then I would just sit around thinking about what to do next then I will go running around topless and then go to jail and when the 2 weeks are up watch as the jail gaurd says What the *$#%?! where did that girl go? Then he would let me out :thumbsup:
