Trust me, there be some douchebag gays. When gays are "bullied" as younger children, they, like many others develop compassion, and are more considerate, thoughtful, and idk. good traits and stuff. Those who are born in places where being gay is accepted, they actually tend to develop complexes worse than Larry the Cable Guy, because they feel entitled being gay. When in fact, they are just the left overs of a primordial soup bedpan.

I'm in Massachusetts (the Gay State), so there aren't many openly gay people who don't feel entitled, and everyone involved feels self-righteous. We've got all sorts of "Save the GLBT" clubs at school. However, there are some nice gays, especially outside the normal clique(which happens to be the drama kids - what a coincidence). I know of one semi-closeted football player who's probably the nicest boy in the grade.

 

This reminds me, today a girl posted copypasta in her status about how one in ten people are gay, and they are all hated for it, and if you have the balls you'll repost this, but only 5% of people will. It annoyed me muchly. Besides the copypasta and the guilt trip, the statistics are completely wrong, or at least not provable.

Its wrong because it goes against the bible. and im not a christian preaching about god because i hate those kind of people, but i think its only natural that a man loves and marrys a woman. and i am against gay marriage

Why do you think homosexuality is not natural? What makes something natural? How does homosexual couples getting married affect you? Why would you be against it?

Hehe. I meant on an instinctual level, down in the Animal Kingdom. If you're looking at it from the Evolutionary standpoint (vs. my religious standpoint), I'm going to guess that the first Homo (SEE EVEN GAYS WERE WAY BACK WHEN) Erectus first evolved into Homo Sapiens Sapiens etc., they didn't have as intuned emotions.

Second, I never said where the human race could reproduce on homosexual intercourse. However, it certainly is possible for the human race to reproduce with homosexuals in it... :)

By not condoning it, are you not also condemning it? When a President says he is not condoning Marijuana, he is condemning it, for all intensive purposes. And that's the problem with homosexuality, it'll never be ok to be talked about, even in context in a lot of social circles. Examples?

Me: "sounds fun. me and my husband just worked on our __________ all weekend. haha. he's epic"

 

or

 

You: "I'm going to the movies, wanna come?"

 

Me: "Can't, I got a counseling meeting for LGBT youth"

 

You: "Dude, just say an appointment, no need to keep on bringing it up"

 

Me: "Am I bringing it up? If I said an "appointment" wouldn't you ask which kind?"

With the last sentence in mind, that is an important thing to remember. When some people find out one is homosexual, they view them as gay, not as Saru, or Th3 etc. So for example, I'm just one to explain what I am doing, I won't just be like "got an appointment" I'd say "I got a dr's appointment, tetnis shot time. " etc. Now if I was heterosexual? Would not be noticed. However if my actions are influenced by a homosexual "lifestyle" *cringes* naturally I'm rubbing it in your face. Which is why despite it being obvious at work, I'm not going to officially like... tell people. Because most of the people there are like "keep it in your pants and in your house" etc.

Is human nature really that practical? Is the human condition really practical? Not really, but definitely possible. YOu are missing the point I am making, and assuming to be the point you wish me to make, being that heterosexuality is not natural. Which is not what I said, I am grossed out by it, and however I welcome heterosexuality to all heterosexuals, since they didn't wish to choose it. But it's not the same as "condoning but condemning" I see Heterosexuality as the exact same playing field as homosexuality, just on a different part of it. I don't look down, nor up to heteros, simply across. And again, that's all I ask. Condoning but not condemning places us lower than you, if only by a few inches.

 

edit: incase of confusion, I am aware Machavelli (sp) did not speak about the condoning but not condemning, that was Ralag (sp) however, I feel this attitude to be much more widespread among the population.

What seems to be overlooked is that even if something like 30% of the population was gay, ~70% would heterosexual, and that would still be enough for populations to expand.

I mean look at it now. 7 billion people and still rising exponentially. having gay couples isn't doing [cabbage] to our population size. There are probably more couples that have less than 2 children, and that would leave just as large a mark.

So basically, homosexuals don't hurt our chances of survival. And we can't say its not natural unless we define what we mean by natural, maybe it's unusual, but I don't see what the problem with that is. I don't see anything wrong with homosexuality.

What do you guys think of this?

Personally I think it doesn't help gay people's cause at all. I wouldn't be gay but i'd try it if the opportunity came up i'd try it. I'm all for supporting their struggle for marriage rights, but this video is just crude and the swearing is un-necessary.

 

Also, saru, you don't have a very noticeable lisp. Last time I heard you on mumble you didn't sound lispy at all.
