It can be a dungeon-quest related item that may have no real value to a player. We know nothing about it. And ontopic: The sword is likley to be either slow, 2h and bulky, but hit hard, or some special that only works in certain areas (Like underwater for the brine saber) that are PvE. Or, it will be small, quick, and dinky, and wont hit to hard. Either way, an update is an update. I personally hope it's tradeable, really rare, powerful and has a decent shop value. This way it would also be useful for pkin and allrounded combat training, not just some fancy item used by edge scum-pkers and trainers. I personally am a bit sick of all this hype around the item. First of all, only a really small amount of people got the slightest idea what it will be like and most likely those won't be posting under this thread. However you're now rising the waitings to the skies and remembering that the higher you climb the more you fall. It can't be that hard just to wait, can it? As far as I know Jagex onyl mentioned a godsword and incredible loot. That still doens't mean the most powerful sword. Whatever might be interpredited with "most powerful". Other than that, I dont know what it will be like. Im sure its going to be 2 handed and be somewhat hard to obtain. i just hope its worth being put into the game and worth me puting time and effort into getting it.
