Well theres always been the discussion of RuneScape turning kid-friendly and repetitive, but if you realize enough, the God Wars Dungeon was a blow. Don't think so?

Quite fearsome, ey? Look at the other monsters in there (especially Zammy's). His generals with their gaping mouths and twisted screeches...I don't think a 7 yr old will like that... or his mommy.

 

 

 

Repetitive? No, again. Never has there been a weapon like the Godsword, incredibly powerful and looks it, amazing specials, and incredibly hard to get, yet tradeable.

 

 

 

 

 

So we conclude with the thought that this awe-demanding dungeon will change the way we look at RuneScape forever.

Well how many 7 years olds have access to a computer and are literate enough to find out about MMORPG's let alone make an account, start playing and become strong enough to enter the GWD :XD:

 

 

 

Sure if you're below like 8 it might be slightly scary but anything above that and it's not scary at all. My little brother played a game called "Dungeon Keeper 2" when he was about 5 which has monsters very similar to that and wasn't scared at all.

In life you will see a lot of stuff, better to start now than make it all slam into his face when he moves out.

It's actually 13 :P However, many people younger than 13 make an account and act like immature idiots in most cases so it is actually a real situation

The GWD is the darker side of runescape. Runescape is 13+, if the 7 year old and his mommy don't like it they can get off and go play maplestory.

So jagex is listening to it's players who want the big stuff, and have made it. It just takes a while.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say in this post. I mean, lots of other games scare little kids. I mean, Doom 1, 2, Final, and Doom 3 those are pretty freaky to a 7 year old.

Runescape used to be specifically aimed at players who are at least 13 years of age.

 

Now Jagex is indirectly making it mroe kid-friendly, but thankfully they came to their senses and are at least making the updates ment for high levels good and "pre-teen unfriendly".

If someone gets scared of that Demon...quit while your ahead.

Do you really think that would scare a kid? think back to when you were a little kid and think would the 7 year old version of yourself be scared by that demon. i know when i was that age (goin back a bit now :P) i woulda thought that looked pretty awesome. Rs has to be one of the least scary games ever made (not counting that spider bit in underground pass.. but thats a different story)

I don't think little 7 year olds are going to be able to even get to the God Wars Dungeon.. and if they do, they'll probably be wearing a mith chainbody, leather chaps and an iron shortsword before they get ko'ed with a 16 -.-
