September 16, 200718 yr I've been reading about this alot on the rs forums as well as hearing about it ingame, that Jagex is removing runescape videos from youtube? It's about a bunch of copyright stuff, a lot of people are getting their pk vids/guide vids, etc deleted off youtube because of it. What do you guys think about this? Personally, Jagex has every right to do it, but it's really lame. The time they put into doing things like this could be put to better use, such as cracking down on autoers and actually reading reports.

But if they feel that some are bad for their reputation, I could see that happening, but pk videos and what not? I don't see a reason. Oh and hey Axe :D

September 16, 200718 yr Its really kind of pointless to remove them. Its free publicity for Jagex. I wouldn't mind if they made a rule that said you couldn't post videos because then people would be warned and couldn't complain about it if their video was taken down.

However according to Axe, it sounds as if they've been deleting random videos about Runescape (Axe, correct me if I'm wrong), which I disapprove of because it ruins some great videos that people can watch for fun and also ruins publicity.

This will never happen, id hate to see what people on the rsof watch during their spare time. Itd be nice to go there to watch a bunch of runescape vids but people would just be posting thousands of day that have nothing to do with runescape. Quit. September 16, 200718 yr Well Jagex had youtube remove some luring videos about a year or so ago. If a video goes against the copyright or whatever, youtube has to remove it or they can be sued.
