I'm almost better than my friend who has the Xbox : He's been playing for about 2 weeks and me 1 day. I need to improve with my vehicles. Melee? As in the B-button melee? You need to master that, beat-downs would be among the most common ways you would kill someone, usually second only to the AR. Common tactic: Bring your opponent's shields down to around 50%, and melee for a quick kill. If both people hit at the same time, whoever has more shields/health wins. It takes around 7-8 rounds with the AR before you hit to get the kill. Or a particularly annoying method is to use the Mauler, shoot and then rapidly melee to get a kill in less than a second. It's tactless, but it works. Don't worry too much about vehicles, it's pretty dangerous to get kills in them anyway. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either. Otherwise, the Pit is best because it's mostly close-quarters and the sword spawn location is usually busy. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either. Its easier on king of the hill games because everyone is pretty close to each other. Seer Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 What is the easiest match/map to get "Steppin' Razor"? u have to get VERY lucky to get a triple kill with the sword. *have done it and got it by pure luck* there are 2 ways u can do this, 1 ask people in the lobby before u go in to see if they will do it. or 2, get swords on snowbound or on epitaph *as these are easy to get it on*. tips on using the sword, always use R FIRST! as if u melee with the sword it will lunge but will miss 3/4ths of the time. after u u lunge, always hit B next and keep hitting B till he's dead as its faster to hit with B than R. hope this helps. The BR can scope in a blink of the eye, you can move while scoped, and if you arn't scoping in, you can still get a headshot across the map. Look under the gaming nights post for my funny noobs version (no offense), but if you want it straight up, here it is (But, I still advise you to look at the other one... theres a few bad jokes in there!) Step One: Choose the default game you want to play (Infection, Assault, Slayer, Etc.) Step Two: Press X to bring up game options. Step Three: Fiddle with the settings and try a few games to get a good feel of your game, and if you need to change it. Step Four: Press X again once you are done with the changes. This will bring up a menu to save as new. Step Five: Be Happy :thumbsup: You made your first Map/Game Variant! HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more!
