Which Runescape days did you enjoy the most?

1) Good o'days in Classic,

2) Good o'days when Runescape 2 was released,

3) The Good days Now.

Which was the most enjoyable?

I'd say #2 because there wasn't alot too worry about then. Like getting 99's and there wasnt that many hard quests.

Dragon drops: 0

#2

The game was so new ( i wasn't here for RSC, but i started 3 months after RS2), unlike anything i'd seen, and i had sooo much fun exploring everything

however, i love hanging out with TIF friends right now...soo i dunno

1, it was new and exciting, now its just old and boring.

(2 kind of falls into the same category, too)

When I first became a member because there was tons of new stuff to do and tons of stuff I hadn't seen before. My second favorite was rsc because I was totally new to rs then and I like experiencing new things, even though I think rs2 is better. Third favorite is when rs2 was released.

Before Miniclip found out *Sigh*

On topic:#2 I wasn't around RSC for long. I took a lot of breaks.

If the police arrest a mime do they tell him he has the right to remain silent?

#2 by far. Not to many Rwt'ers. No trade limit. Unique Pvp aspects. Not one person that maxed all the skills. It was truly much more of a competition. Now its who can spend the most money fastest for skills.

Now.

Whyy?

GRAND EXCHANGE, PEOPLES!

Although I no longer have to resort to it (I only did this for about half a year, until I got members), when the Grand Exchange came out my thoughts on Dec 10 were 'YES! No more selling my lobsters to the general store! I can get some actual MONEY now! Wait, what? Trade limit? 'Kay! Who cares! I don't trade stuff anyway!'

... That, sirs, is why I got 70 fishing before members. Although members is preeeeetty awesome.

... That is also why I FINALLY finished Dragon Slayer. The Grand Exchange, that is. HOORAY FOR BEING ABLE TO BUY STUFF W/O INTERACTION! ... Trading. SUCKS. No, seriously. >.> And I are suck at chopping my paragraphs up, soooo...

Balance may be power, but chaos is still pretty damn fun.

Canada can't be second rate, polar bears are their main mode of transportation.

3) The Good days Now.

I've never played RSC, but I have played for almost the whole time RS2 has been around. Today Runescape is a massive game almost completely free of autoing and real world trading which makes the game enjoyable and fair. GE has made trading a breeze and RSHD got me back to the game after a long break last summer. Of course I sometimes long for the days of being a newb and finding things out for the very first time, but the game is still better off now than at any other point during my RS career.

Easily #3

Wasn't there for RSC

But trading was a pain in the backside on #2, and I didn't (still don't) care much for PvP anyway.

The_Brodly.png

I haven't played rs classic (only after rs2 came out) but i would say now. Although there are stuff i miss about 2004 theres the G.E which made things 100x better. I wasted soooo much time screaming "buying rune plate 40k" in Varrock bank once it wasnt funny. If you died in a quest it would take ages getting food again. If you needed a ball of wool for a quest you had to buy a shear and go to a sheep. Ect. It was so annoying, the whole game was like one massive quest.

well I never played RSC so im gonna have to say old RS 2, imo the ge ruined that runescape and began a completely different one....not nessicarily for the best

Jesus_Statuz.png

I would say #2 because that's about when I started and everything was fun and new. I liked it better w/o trade limit and grand exchange.

I wasn't playing at the time of RSC, but I would defenitely say # 3. This higher levels you get the more you can do which makes playing alot of fun. Although, when I first started it was SO much fun because everything is brand new and exploring the map was the greatest!

Drops/Clue Finds:

Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging: 1

I started playing in early '06, so I never got to play classic. =(

My favorite time is #2. I liked the older graphics A LOT. I also liked not having a trade limit or the grand exchange, and most of the other new updates lol. I know jagex has their reasons for changing so much, but I still miss the way it was.

#2, I wasn't around for RSC. I loved playing back then because even though selling items and such was hard, it was fun, prices wern't so high and I always enjoyed going to the general stores to see if I can buy anything useful. So nostalgic ::'

The mass amount of noobs these days are irritating, but I find pleasure making fun of them with my friends in chats & stuff.

I only came around to this game in period #2, & I barely ever logged on. Nowadays, I understand more about the game, & knowing this is comforting.

Only fear God,

Know the weapons of the weak,

The weakness of the hard.

^dds'er in progress =D

I started playing runescape around the end of rsc. I don't remember much from back then, but everything was so new and exciting. Now it's just meh.

#3 for sure

36601.jpg

I'd say the era before GE. I have a feeling someone is probably going to say, "But you said you were a supporter of the Fight Against RWT." I am, but the game was inevitably going to go downhill no matter what, but Jagex just limited it from being completely ruined from RWT. I miss the days before the updates, but when you take into account the fact that RS probably wouldn't even exist if they didn't take those measures then it's no wonder why I supported their cause.
