Here is a link for those of you who want to see if these binaural beats "work" or not. From archive.org, so it's perfectly safe and legal. They don't have any drug ones, but there are other effects.

 

 

 

I still don't think they do anything, but it turns out one site said that I have to listen to them through headphones, not through speakers. Why that would make a difference I have no idea, but I'll go ahead and try.

It's essentially the same as meditation IMO. I've done a fair bit of meditation in the past and I got the same feeling from this as I did from the meditation. It was like being inside your own head totally conscious but detatched from everything. Although it did act as a catalyst to getting me to a deep level of meditation.

You have to download the program to listen to the ones off the site. You can do like i did and just torrent them for free. the torrent contains MP3s which i plan to add to my zen. I can't believe 200 bucks just for hand of god. I previewed it for like 10 seconds and it was pretty awesome.

There's a torrent of the program+.drg format files that is about 20 megs. Didn't work for me though, no complaints in the comments however.

 

 

 

I just listened to the entire cocaine one, and I never felt any different than at the beginning. Well that isn't entirely true, I got a slight headache from the constant noise.

 

 

 

I can't believe they are charging $200 for the Hand of God one, I've listened to about 5 minutes so far and I don't see how it's different than the others.

EDIT: Even better news, I-Doser didn't even create the beat engine it is selling. It is SBaGen, an open source completely free application. I-Doser just made the noise files.

 

 

 

EDIT2: OK, they are just selling the noise files, they aren't selling the application. That is fine. If they were selling the application it would definitely be a scam.

Spent the last two hours trying this stuff. I don't think it works. It had a bit of an effect earlier but that could have just been my tiredness plus the meditatie state. I'll take mediatating to Sunn O))) anyday over this.

OK, after further research by myself Hand of God and LSD don't do squat. I knew they weren't going to, but I listened to them all anyways. After that I decided to do a little digging on the Mr. Internet about this.

 

 

 

FACT: A lot of the effects of this are hypothetical still, but not out of the question.

 

(from here on assuming it is actually true, not hypothetical, which I am still not sure about)

 

FACT: Your brainwaves (to keep it simple) can be affected by an external stimulus to "alter your state of mind." This can be either auditory or visual.

 

FACT: Everyone has the chance to be affected equally, I-Doser uses the "it works on some people, not on others" to discount all the people that say it doesn't work.
