Weather; does it effect your emotions?

Featured Replies

All I know is that its nigh on impossible to feel more content then lying in a warm bed on the brink of sleep whilst the most unholy thunderstorm rages just outside.

If I get caught in really heavy rain, I absolutally love the feeling and usually start singing/ dancing. I also like the weather when its really hot. Basically, the extremes of weather make me happy because of the disruption they cause in a sometimes monotonous life.

Sunny 30+: Irritating

Sunny/Cloudy 25-30: Pretty nice

Sunny 5 when skiing: Perfect

Rainy: Makes me happy

Snowing: *Jumps around in joy*

I like the autumn and winter more then spring and summer. i hate bugs.

This is sorta how it goes for me:

Winter: My work is bad, im tired, annoyed with everyone

Spring: Happy, thanking the winter is over

Summer/Autum: I don't really like the sun, I prefer being cold or slightly warm than hot.

Raining: Okay

Windy: Not to cold but so that there is some wind makes me really happy because it stops me being sick in the mornings.

Sunny: Depends, I don't like being to hot, although when I went to america I loved the heat there. But generally I don't like the sun to hot.

Snow:I love snow.

For some reason, I find it a bit more cosy indoors when its raining.

Am I the only one who hates rain? Well over here is stays overcast and rainy for days. Its really depressing. Nice sunny cold to warm weather is the best.

But Rain = MORE COMPUTER!!!! :ohnoes: =P~

Well, that's what my gut says about all this love of rain anyways :-k . Mine stems mainly from an inate love of rain, one that I gained through the fact that it made it so I didn't have to play a sport that my parents were forcing me to do. Any time it rained, I knew I didn't have practice/a game/meet, and after a few years of that it's kind of hard to get rid of my love of rain, even if I don't play that sport anymore. The mind is a weird as hell thing :-k .

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

I love the weather. It's what I'm studying now, and what I want to study in college. Any variant in the weather other than a sunny sky I love. My number one favorite is a huge snowstorm with strong winds :)

I really just like rain. Snow is even better...but it almost never does snow in Georgia so that's where the love of snow comes from probably.

I couldn't imagine living in a place like California, with 30+ C temperatures even now. I love the mist here when coming out of a bar late at night. The canals are lined with old fashioned street lights lit with bright yellow bulbs. On a proper foggy night it's like there's spheres of yellow light disappearing off in every direction.

I feel very happy when there is dark clouds in the sky, in the morning. Weird eh.

I do. I hate rain/snow. It keeps me inside. Makes my body sluggish.

Figures most people would love the rain though because it does keep them inside

Yeah, I enjoy dark weather really - overcast all day, rainy.. all good to me. I don't care for bright, hot, sunny days.

So it makes sense that I'm living in southern California.

When you live in a tropical country you simply can't let weather have influence over your emotions. Otherwise I'd suffer from the worst case of depression, possibly leading to awful pathologies, murder and suicide.

Though I get happy when I hear the wind howling through a specific kind of tree.... ::'

This signature is intentionally left blank.

Being a Washingtonian, I'm fairly used to rain. However windstorms generally do have an effect.

The weather itself doesn't really affect my mood, it's more or less the season. In the winter I'm usually more down and sad than usual. In the spring I'm a lot more anxious because the end of the school year is getting near. In the summer it's hard to find me unhappy because I love the hot weather and just hanging out by my pool. In the fall I'm usually the most depressed and down because school just started and it's a long ways from being out for the summer (plus all the damn homework I can't stand trying to keep up with).
