I voted for market price guide, but since it is already provided by Zybez, is it really a good use of time to essentially duplicate a resource intensive system? Of the options available, it is the most useful to players, but I do have to wonder if TipIt really should/needs to try and copy functionality from Zybez.

 

 

 

 

 

Maybe something else that could be added is a quest builder:

 

- You can already select the quests that you've done

 

- Then select a quest you want to complete, or xp rewards you want from quests

 

- The builder will then work out what quests you need to do to complete the goals, along with other possibly unrelated quests to help get levels to those required to complete the main goal (e.g., you need to do Lost City to get enough xp in skill x so that you can complete Back to My Roots - if that makes sense)

 

- It could also break down the steps in each quest in your goal list to help get it done quicker (i.e., working on multiple different quests at the same time to most efficiently complete them all)

 

 

 

That last bit would be insanely hard to code I'd imagine.

I don't really trust Zybez as a site... and it's got "rs gold for sale!" ads so JaGex is probsbly tryin g to get rid of it now.

If we look on the RSOF forums, ingame worlds and fansite market places, we would be plagiarizing Zybez. And, tipit has no intent of plagiarizing material. Have they just copied pictures / information off of the manual word for word? No, so, keep your stupid comments to yourself.

This is just a small thing, but my school computers have Runescape blocked, and I used to check here every Monday morning to see the new update. I'd like to see you keeping the Runescape updates section on the homepage updated quickly after Jagex puts out new content.

Market prices are going to be hard to do... who has time to keep up with the prices of all the items? That would be a full-time, non-paying job.

 

 

 

This is something Jagex could and should provide - they have access to all the trade data. They could easily provide an average of the last 500 trades of any given item.

 

 

 

I always just look at the RSOF to see what items are selling for.

 

 

 

I can't see any use in a City Database.

 

 

 

The NPC Database might come in handy someday, but there is no pressing need.

 

 

 

I'd like to see the drops for monsters ranked by probability, but that would be a mammoth undertaking and require a lot of community help.

Tip.it sure could use a price guide. I send in 50+ updated price reports to zybez daily. I'd prefer to do that for tip.its guide instead :P

i would prefer price guide cauase its the only thing i use zybez for and would use tip.it more if they had an always up to date price guide..... i currently have a vendetta against zybez because an ad of theres install some kind of malware on my computer and cause they help promote selling rs gp and items.... BAD ZYBEZ BAD..... GO SIT IN A CORNER NOW!!!.... luckily i manged to remove the malware no problem before it did anything.... all on my own too no anti virus help or anything.... i feel so proud of myself :shock: anyways if there could be an up to date at least 90% of the time price guide i would be quite happy with tip it..... the id only use runehq and tip it lol..... i only use runehq for there cool forums and ibpro battle.... oh and i like there tt trail guide.... other than that..... no that all i can think of lol

sorry for the caps but it gets the point across... of course that isnt what rune hq says because i just hate the website. i only use their website if i need to get more information on big quests like monkey madness mournings etc. basically i think the rest of their website is well.. stupid and not as much as a community as tip it. funny people on here :

 

 

 

the city guide wouldnt be a bad idea.. certaintly couldnt hurt i just think that the market prices could just hurt the website more than help it, but thats just my opinion. go city guides.

Anything but market prices is good for me, this site would become just as unreliable and slandered as Runehq. Market prices are too unpredictable to be recorded on a site.

 

 

 

EDIT: Also maybe Tip.it could get signatures or goal signatures, different from other sites though.

 

 

 

EDIT #2: Also slayer xp for slayer monsters in the bestiary would be awesome too, its annoying going into the desert just to find out desert lizards are 25 xp.
