I've been camped there since doing the quest last night and haven't got a single glove/pet drop. Honestly, I would've preferred gloves first... Ahh well, this little guy is pretty adorable at least. When I got him, he was in a "dormant" state. I had to poke him to activate him, and I thought this meant I could trade him while dormant. If you have the skillbar minimized you can use WASD instead of the arrow keys to move the camera around, they added it in one of the more recent updates.
