Cheefoo Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 Only one-hitting if both sides use Berserk though.As compared to pre-EoC, in which everyone got one-hit unless they paid for Divines or Torva. 8200 is over 90% of my lp in full tetsu, the best armor in game at the moment. Add to that the attack will hit that high up to 4 times, and that this is only with one person using berserk. I can hit about 4200 with assault only using a chaotic maul. I'd imagine it'd be quite a bit higher with drygore weapons, not to mention they're so much more accurate. And they could have something like 9% chance to hit their max (nocrits servers pls) so you're kinda boned if they get a berserked assault off. But berserk technically puts them at a disavantage, because they also get halved armor and start with no adren. You could use your adren on invuln ultimate if you have a shield, then they're pretty much killing themselves by using berserk. They're still at a disadvantage as soon as they activate berserk. Just assault/asphyxiate/slaughter/destroy/sneeze on them. They have no defence, no adrenaline; you have 20 seconds of unimpeded murder-rape. It's a big "if" they can get assault on you themselves, but you practically have it guaranteed. Berserk is only novel in PvP, at worst it's a suicide button. Stick with using it in PvM. Quyneax Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 You can't attack while eating and you can be damn sure anyone opening a fight with Berserk will use an adrenaline pot and get up to assault in just 5.4 seconds, all the while hitting you for heavy damage. I've discovered i'm good at tanking nex, was 1-2 fooding it all night, and using 3-4 duoing :) Also discovered how to block 3 ice prisons in a row... albeit stressfully.
