For example, 516, or 51.6, would round to 52 when it hits you. But then it end up overcompensating and you may be forced to heal more so than you would. You would always have an inaccurate HP reading, even if the system tracked the decimals for you. Your example shows the system rounding down, which is even worse with the effects being sudden death.
