Third time in what 3 days ive dced for over 5m, but this time taking my last fcape torso and defender. The sad part is that i do not care anymore, big drops/big losses mean nothing to me these days, all the excitement of runescape is gone. Unlike when starting and gaining a level or buying a set of steel armour was quite fun, all i seem to do is grind away for long periods of time to gain levels which i donteven give me that feeling anymore.

 

Everytime i get anywhere in this game this sort of thing happens, so im not even getting anywhere. Its just a waste of time now, and since i no longer find runescape fun anyway what is the point. This is not me "rage quitting", but actually realising how much of my life is being wasted (almost 220 days of gameplay on n00b, let alone countless other little accounts) when i no longer get a fun kick out of runescape anyway.

 

So anyway i think i shall now class myself as semi-retired/on hiatus. Actually quitting wont be happening, but i do think/hope i shall play alot less (:

Replacing Rs with other video games doesn't seem to me to be any improvement, and if you're gonna waste time on flash games you may as well be playing RS where your progress amounts to something over time.

Meh. It worked for me, since I told myself once I got LIVE I would quit. And it worked. But to each his own I guess.

I've played for 6 years with about 2 - 2 1/2 years of small breaks, and each time I come back it's because every other game I play I just don't feel like I am accomplishing anything. On runescape I really do though and that's kept me in the game for as long as I have been. Finally getting major work done too, which feels good as well :thumbup: .

2x150 steel arrows, 1x3k coins, 1x20 addy javs, 3 rune boots, b2b snap seeds. Can't complain for my first nech task. :thumbsup:

 

After getting 2 claws in one day TDs got both dry and boring for the past 4 or 5 days so I went to Armadyl. :).

So I thought I would go log a few kills myself. Half-way through my solo, two higher leveled people come in and try to wreck my solo. Long story short, d claws spec > Gs specs. Free 24m. So happy. :D

short story short went corp... i got sheild wow... great... went zammy friend got spear cool? crashers came both in full bandos d claws wtf lmao crash at zammy come on... we all had like 37 kc so we went out and regot. crashers telies wtf? i got shard... great..... then i get junk arrows ugh.... add to pile..friend dies not 1 who got spear... we bless few kills later friend who got spear gets a second spear... wtf.. we both have 0 lsp because we only do solos and we both didnt miss anything.

^ this. i have a ps3 and never play it, if im going to be "gaming" id rather it be runescape where im actually decent and where i have something to show for the work. I'd much rather play rs abit too much then become a serious gamer nerd.

 

Decided im not quitting, just taking a break and when i come back finding a much better balance of real life/runescape. Gotta still have something to do when theres nothing else right. Grinding away at skills and stuff probably wont be happening, why play a game so seriously :D
