Yay tea! Tea has been around for thousands of years starting in Asia, and I bet that everyone here probably likes some type of tea. Not only is tea super tasty, but it's rich in antioxidants. Lots of research says that tea can be helpful in maintaining a healthy weight and cholesterol, preventing tumors and certain types of cancers, and helping the digestive tract (just some of the benefits). There's tons of tea types to choose from, too!

So, what's your favorite kind of tea? Do you think it can significantly benefit your health? Do you take your tea with milk/sugar (or anything else)?

1. My favorite kinds of tea are green, green with additional flavor (examples are blueberry, that earthy flavor made from a flower of which I can't remember), and fruity tea.

2. Yeah, definitely!

3. No, milk and sugar in tea is disgusting.

(I was drinking some Earl Grey when I made this thread.)

1. My favourite tea is Earl Grey but I do like peppermint and some others I don't know the name of.

2. I dunno, from what you say I guess, but I know it's better than coffee.

3. Yes, I have 2 teaspoons of sugar and milk. I can't stand the strong taste of tea on it's own, but I like it a tad bit sweet.

Earl Grey representin'.

Tea is also incredibly convenient for schoolwork/studying, since it helps me pace myself. Even the few seconds it takes to have a sip can help one relax in the face of mounting stress. Add on the comforting heat and possible health benefits and it's an excellent all-around comfort drink.

I go with two small spoonfulls of sugar - seems to give a mug just enough sweetness without detracting from the taste.

I used to have some of this great Vanilla tea I bought in Italy....it was so great with some coffee creamer and honey =P~ I ran out about a year ago, though, so no more for me

Isn't tea the decadent drink of the bourgeoise!?!?

I have tea about four times a day - Lipton or Bushells - with milk and one sugar.

I like tea, but I never have it very often. Why is it that it's not so common in America? Maybe it's just the area that I live in, but I rarely find people that drink tea.. I've always been intrigued by the other countries that seem to drink tea several times a day, I'm kind of jealous tbh =P

Huuuge fan of tea here :D. My daily favourite is jasmin tea.

Sometimes I also make a nice pot of apple tea with cinnamon before going to bed. Moroccan mint tea with orange blossom is fabulous after dinner.

I also love Bradley's tea (green bags, not sure what kind it is), it tastes great, but I mainly like it because the smell reminds me of the smell of my ex-boyfriend's house .

I love a nice strong cup of tea but it has to have milk in it 8-)

I'm a fan of English Breakfast and vanilla.

I'm more of a coffee man. Although there is one tea that I really like. Rooibos Tea, but I don't know how you call it in English. Oh, Red Bush in English.

What's your favorite kind of tea?

Any kind that tastes awesome with a bunch of sugar in it.

Do you think it can significantly benefit your health?

Probably if I didn't put so much sugar in it.

Do you take your tea with milk/sugar (or anything else)?

I have to. I don't like tea without it.

I like mine with milk, sugar, and some ginger.

You mean the spice... right? :anxious:

Lol.

Oh, if I have normal tea I have a little bit of sugar in it. Nothing in it with the red bush.

Rooibos/red bush is indeed very nice as well.

For me, no added milk. Sometimes a little bit of sugar, in the mornings a lot of sugar in an effort to wake up. Whether tea is good for the health? It's less bad than coffee, but all black teas have theine, which is about as bad as caffeine. Green tea, on the other hand, is quite good for you. In any case, if you're a tea-drinker, you're supposed to drink lots of water too, because tea drains fluid from your body. Well, that's what I was told anyway.

My routinely cup of Tea at home consists of milk but no sugar, with a few digestives to dunk.

But when i'm at work i have 3 sugars, to keep my energy levels up.

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.

Tea is probably the greatest thing in the world. A drop of milk and no sugar is the way to go with it.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

My daily favourite is jasmin tea.

Yes! That is the earthy flowery tea that I couldn't remember!!! Gonna edit the first post.

And yeah, I heard that tea drains the body tissues and constricts them or something, so drinking plenty of water is a good idea.
