Here's a question, why RC there? If you are that worried about them and think that they could possibly kill you and take your profits, you'd be better off walking around on Karamja. They do it because they can, after all it is the wild anything goes. It's easy not to die if you know what you are doing. Without RC Pkers there would be an overload of RCers, and nats would be down greatly (I don't know the current price or if this has already happend). The only thing that bothers me is when they boast about it after they kill you. But I would glady become a RC Pker if I had the correct levels and still played.

both sides need to stuff it, I just don't see rc pking as profitable but I'd be annoyed if suddenly all the pkers disappeared because they would take away some of the enjoyment of abyss rcing, I don't see them as the "noob pker" but as my dualing adversary cuz its fun stuff :D

as for hating the rc pkers. its what drives me to be a good rcer. im always looking forward to shoving my dds down the throat of the next rc pker that comes along :twisted:. its the wilderness after all. expect the unexpected, and know that when you come in, you risk death, and that applies to rc pkers too.

A lot of Pkers pk for the "sport" of it. Granted, picking off a RCer (And losing the pouched! WHY! I HATE LOSING MY POUCHES!)

Oo, someone defending the pkers makes a valid point other than "its the wildy" =D> :thumbsup: . that is true, i will give them that. the only thing that makes me kind of skeptical about that, though, is the w66 law company. thier pkerless rcing has brought A LOT of laws into the game, and it hasnt affected the prices much, im not sure if this would apply to nats too, but im pretty sure it would, as the rcers wouldnt let the prices drop too far, as seen when the abyss first came out, the price of nats didnt change much at all because the rcers wouldnt sell for lower (merchant resisting at its best :D ), and im sure something similar to that would happen if rc pkers dissapeared, though i know they never will, so we need not worry about that

 

 

 

note, im sure they arent aware that they are keeping prices stable and pking because of it, but i will agree they do somewhat regulate prices, and are (sadly) a necessary evil. that does not, however, change the fact that they are douchebags and dishonorable parasites, who i will kill on sight

Yes. There just aren't as many topics about it because there aren't nearly as many rune miners/clue hunters as there are abyss RCers. I've never gotten attacked on a wildy clue, anyway...

 

 

 

Besides, rune miners can't complain about the PKers, because killing a rune miner is actually good money. If you manage to kill one with a nearly full load that's as much as 250k+ made, and rune miners are much easier to kill; you don't need TB, and you don't have to be within 5 levels of them. In other words, they're easy pickins, unlike RCers which are comparable to greased swine.

I got attacked, tried my tele, didnt worked so I admitted defeat, dropped my pouches (to get them back later)

 

 

 

I died, Quickly teled back to get my pouches, got pked AGAIN!! I had NOTHING ON ME!!

 

 

 

Quickly ran back, finally he didnt pk me and I got them back.

I also asked that question today, got killed 2 times while rcing.

 

 

 

When I attacked the pker (with my addy axe) he said "No, you can't do that!". :-k

And to answer your question, its cause they do it for fun. Even though it is quite noobie to kill people who are unarmed. But aren't you pretty much doing the same thing when you have a sniper rifle in halo 3 owning all the noobs in Big Team Battle? (Sorry H3 Owns!).

 

 

 

 

 

Yes, I do get mad about it when I die, not because I lost a glory, but because I lost my pouches. However I still choose to go through abyss, if you don't want to take the risk that jagex attended there to be, then do it the old fashion way, and then all you have to worry about is people buying your ess from the store.

When they are constantly trying to kill me every round I run to the Zamorak Mage, every round I get done I tell them how much money I have made while the RC PKer has been trying to kill me.

I'm not an rc pker, but I don't see why they are lowly. Sure, they don't pk people who fight back. but so what? its the wilderness. The abyss wasn't put in the wild just to sit there. No, it was meant to be dangerous. Jagex's whole purpose was to add risks to efficient rcing. after all, without abyss pkers, who's to stop the nats piling up over and over? we'd have millions of nats, they'd be difficult to sell with all the rcers willing to sell, prices might go down a bit. if you ask me, rc pkers are keeping the rune stock in a nice place.

Because RC pking makes cash, without them the price of nature runes would lower and ironically wouldn't benefit runecrafters.

i kinda like them, you know they have no chance of beatign you and it adds a little excitement to the whole "boring" rcing. and then i go back and taunt them =). normally i wait and some rune pure comes and owns them and they tele (happened numerous times) its quite funny after a while you get quite a gang of people bashing them
