Yes, it was one of the Cheaters that's been spreading stupid and IMMORAL rumors like those. It got so much momentum where even JaGeX has to react. As some of you may recall, they tried to pull the same trick in our TIF (thread deleted?), luckily, we know better.

 

 

 

As I wrote in this thread, "we the True RuneScapers stand behind JaGeX and laughs at their threats of RuneScape's doom." Now that the cheaters are pulling all the dirty tricks, we have to do our part to protect RuneScape by letting them know that we're not FOOLED, and more importantly, do not join their cause unintentionally!

I think this is disgusting. Firstly, some idiot kid makes incredibly immature and dangourous claims about suicide. Then mocks Jagex's socially responcible reply. With proof that this is now a joke I think that player should be banned.

Real world traders are behind all the chaos? Wow. Genius. But on topic: I find it funny the guy who made the "fake suicide message" is laughing because Jagex said "if you have anyone to talk to". Some people these days. I just dont get it.

Pointless and stupid, wastes Jagex staffs time, and just spams the forums. Didn't know Jagex Would do that kind of thingh though (Give Advice), and good idea IMO. =D>

If it were me at jagex, and that rotten little [cabbage] decides to joke around with suicide to get me to reply to him, I might lose my marbles and go "go ahead and kill yourself. you're probably too much of a coward, and nobody cares if you'd be gone." Not exactly the most mature thing to say, and I admit I can be an idiot at the worst of times, but then jokes about suicide are no laughing matter either. Most of the people who are against these updates are autoers. NOTE THAT I DID SAY MOST, NOT ALL SO DON'T FLAME ME TELLING ME THAT YOU ARE AGAINST IT AND YOU ARE NOT AN AUTOER... Now that I've made that point, I would just like to say that autoers are trying to rebel and force Jagex to change their ways. I've heard from a lot of different people that they (the rwters) are holding events and doing other things in order to try and revert back to the old ways.

LOL, and people are wondering why Jagex are working so hard to remove people like this from the game.

People go too far sometimes....if your very mad. Go play WoW unless you can't 15 a month. Or get a 360 and play Elder Scrolls.

O well shame that CS actually responds to all this crap ... even though as a compagny they almost HAVE to react to such messages in order to put them in a secure position.

RWT wasn't a that huge problem, they simply made Runescape less challenging (I quit 3 months ago because there aren't any challenges left in Rs, unless you see being the 10k'th to get 99 crafting as a major achievement, which i don't) which would hurt Jagex as a business.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BESIDES, if Jagex would do something which disadvantages skilling in a bad way then i'm SURE that alot of tipitters would also behave in an equivalent way. Perhaps a smaller amount but still ... the reaction stays the same even though the group of people differ

Quite simply, the cheaters have hijacked the "bad-update" movement. Their dirty tricks simply made anyone who dislike the updates tainted as well. Personally, I think the updates could use improvements, but we wouldn't get any of our suggestions in until we can take out the riots, spams, and rumors the cheaters been spreading. To do so, all of us have to unite and stop the dirty tricks from succeeding.
