When you shake the snowglobe, your inventory gets filled with snowballs. I'd think (and hope) that you'll still be able to use them after the event is over.

Yup, give it about half a year, and we'll be pelting newbies, and they'll be freaking out, just like the priceless reaction of one getting whacked by a rubber chicken. :

 

 

 

As for if other people will be able to pick up the snow you leave on the ground still, I'm not sure about that, but I would think so. And, if you can't build snowmen anymore, i'm gonna be angry.... :)

I think we'll be able to build snowmen, but not animate them.

Yeah, Jagex said that hats and weapons will disapear when the event ends

We get the plesure of attacking the new people, plus it has the ring effect where they want to know how its done (because the globe is not wielded, so we could make snowmen without showing off snow balls)

Ask one of the imps to teleport you. Once teleported, head to the middle house and ask the queen for your present.

In my opinion the best part is that even after the even new players will be able to enjoy it! By having other players summon piles of snow!

Talk to the queen of snow in that one place the imp can teleport you too.

Even if new players don't have the globe in the future, they will still be able to get the snowballs when other people shake their snow globes, as when you shake them snow appears on the ground around you.

 

 

 

The only thing is they wont be able to make the snow, they will have to use other peoples.

It may be a strange thing to like about the new holiday item, but I rather like the little 'miniaturized' Lumbridge tune. It just sounds positively delectable.

Snow imps ran rampant around the cities of RuneScape calling forth drifts of magical snow. Players were able to collect snow for snowball fights and to build snowmen together. Players could also travel to the Land of Snow, domain of the Queen of Snow, to make other 'combat' snowmen, which would happily fight amongst each other for everyone's entertainment.

 

 

 

Players were given enough to shake and kick holes in the ground. The Queen of Snow gave them the gift of a snow globe (for snowballs all year round) and snowmen taught them how to do the ever so funky 'Snowman dance' emote.
