jewboi0
Those tarts that feel its a good idea to have a conversation in front of the common room doors, then get annoyed when you finaly barge them out of the way, after asking them politley to move 3 times. Oh, and tarts who don't like, and complain about the music I'm playing on my computer, in my room. If you don't like it, GTFO! --==7,452nd to 99 Woodcutting - 22/08/07 ** as a free player.**==--
rushrock
Rushrock, are you a freshman? 'Cuz it's pretty hard to put things into perspective when you're a freshman trying to defend them. Trust me, once get out of that year you realize that freshmen are among the most annoying things on the planet >.> If you're not, ignore what I just said and we'll agree to disagree. I'm a 15-year-old freshman that believes I've evolved to a point in which pointless things like annoying freshman (which really don't exist in my area, I've seen their behavior, people just hate them) won't be a problem for me in later years. adam_ross0
[hide=People]-I'm a Freshman. I don't like some of the seniors who, even though I haven't done ANYTHING to annoy them. (and I'm not the stereotypical annoying freshman..I know why we have a bad reputation, and I've done everything I can to prevent myself from being that way. In fact, I have a few senior friends because of this.) -The people who think they're better than you because they have *insert clothing brand/item here* -The people who think that because you don't listen to crap like Soulja boy, you must be a complete and total loser. -The people who think they are the top of the ladder at the school. -The people who get mad at you for no particular reason. -The idiots that arrive in the theatre as soon as the MOVIE, not ads, is starting..and have the amazing grace to take 2 or 3 minutes to decide on a seat and get seated, thus blocking my view of the movie, -The people who decide that it is ingenius to play ringtones during a movie. Nope..I could care less that Frodo's having a mental struggle involving the one ring when it comes time to put it in the cracks of doom..I'd much rather hear a Soulja Boy ringtone than see that. -The jerks who think they're the best at everything..when reality comes to show, they are one of the worst. -Last, and probably not least, the idiots who think that anything they say goes. The ones who 'Can't be wrong, because of *insert reason here*'..the ones who's opinion is the only one tha matters, and the ones who can't see anything from someone else's point of view. Oh, and the ones who think that because of *reason*, they have power. hate them..lol..[/hide] Other than people, not much annoys me. Besides the following: -Whenever they show nothing but crap shows on Adult Swim -Anything on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon -G4's tendency to show Cops, Arrested Development, Ninja Warrior, Heroes, and Star Trek rather than shows actually related to gaming or technology. -VH1 Classics tendency to not show more Pink Floyd. Poo. (nah, kidding..lol)
Rebdragon
You know people that "revel in stupidity"? Sure, I know more than my share of people who don't have all that much of a desire to expand their mental capacity, but to say you've seen people that 'revel' in it? Gunna need some examples to explain that one :-s . You've honestly never met anyone like this? Wow, I'm surprised, they're all over my school and New Jersey. I know people that are, how should I word it... not extremely intelligient, but I'm having trouble understanding the concept of reveling in stupidity. Is there some kind of elitist complex that comes from their stupidity, or are you guys just pairing jerks and idiots together? I'm usually quite proud of myself when I manage to make it just in time to miss the adverts. Although I would prefer to be seated just before the film starts, preferably while the "this movie was made by universal studios/whoever" ads are on. Just so we're on the same page with the definiton, although I'm sure you already know it: http://m-w.com/dictionary/revel I can name many kids at my school who are completely content with their stupidity and make no effort at anything in their lives. They strive to be vegetables, and are perfectly happy with their ignorance and stupidity. And when I mean happy, I do mean that, right now I'm picturing a specific kid... The ones I'm talking about are the Moms/families that come in and do that. The kids whine about where to sit, the mom is standing there trying to manage it..and it takes forever for them to sit down. The people who just walk in, look for a second, and sit down kinda make sense..lol. I understand that.

Jaziek
im pretty amazed you've never come across anybody like that before Reb. I'd say about 1/3 of my year are like that. ( pretty small year though only 40 people.) they really do beggar belief. I mean one guy was pretty damn pleased with himself (and also got a lot of 'respect' from the rest of them) for getting 2% in an end of year maths exam. Rebdragon
Eh, my school's kind of an anomaly I guess- private Catholic [Jesuit] high school, where there are essentially no cliques and everyone's got something going for 'em. Some people are more inclined towards sports, some towards academics, some the arts, but everyone always seems to have a little of everything; in a class of 400, I don't know more than one person who doesn't play a sport at the school, and maybe half my class is in NHS. That, and everyone does community service, are good people, good friends, outgoing and intellectually aware, everything... it's kind of creepy sometimes how good the people are at my school... I mean, even the Ivy Leagures are just as nonchalant and put off by work as anyone else. Guess it's just a weird place. im pretty amazed you've never come across anybody like that before Reb. I mean one guy was pretty damn pleased with himself (and also got a lot of 'respect' from the rest of them) for getting 2% in an end of year maths exam. That's the kind of example I was looking for, that was based on reveling in stupidity. Gotta say though, that seems pretty odd :-k . demonfirzen
Well, duh. You're high ping is going to ruin the experience for everyone else -- that isn't their fault Well, I have to find a non-american server which is usually empty. I can't play the game I payed for so some internet tough man can play the way he wants to. What? Just because some jerkoff cussed you out you think that most Americans are like that? Hell no. ps: Every place has jerkoffs Sure, theres plenty of nice americans(never said there wasn't) But the majority are just plain self-centred. Uhh... lol. Not only is this an incredibly small detail but of course, in America, the way we spell would take priority over others. I mean it only makes sense! If I were to be in another country of course I would at least try and adapt my spelling. Eg, Lots of people were flaming this one guy because of the way he spelt "armour". They can sometimes(not very often thank god) be real jerks about it. Again not a fault of "big bad America". Games just simply are not available in other regions all the time, although I'd be interested in knowing which games gave you that problem. Funny enough it may not even be an American company! http://www.rf-onlinegame.com, Which is made by Codemasters. "Codemasters is headquartered in Warwickshire UK, with North American operations based in Burbank, Calif. The company also maintains operations in Germany, France, Spain, and Benelux." Okay, this game in particular is not centred around America(So i'll retract that statement), but still seems like thats wrong(morale-wise). For the most part the U.S does have a good impact on the world, and their is no doubting that. Yes some people take it too literally (the world couldn't survive without us) but trust me, most Americans are level headed. Well, I COULD make a list of all the wrongs generated by the U.S but'd it'd be your government and media(Not the public's fault). I don't see this often except maybe in little kids. (which if you are playing games with than no wonder you hate America). America is pretty damn diverse as far as other cultures go, so trust me most of us are pretty tollerant of any culture. Sure, normally I would agree with you but my experiences point me otherwise. Also heres a biased vid against americans: These are also the guys that got into APEC. How old are you, if I don't mind asking?

Kind of off topic but whoever created this didn't even bother proofreading what they wrote. http://il3dsm.gotdns.com/pictures/proofread.PNG What grinds my gears: People who walk VERY slowly and take up the whole sidewalk/hall so others have to walk behind them. Cars that attempt to ride into a puddle of water to splash you. Girls that say "I'm so ugly" just to hear "no you're not", constantly. People who ask me what I'm reading..then get mad when they've never heard of it. 2. people who bash me for being a Stalinist. I mean, come on, I don't bash them for being a capitalist. 3. People in general. 4. This girl who stand near my locker every morning, blocking it, making out with her boyfriend until the bell rings. I can barely reach my locker and have to push past, they don't respond to voice commands. 5. The incessant vulgarity by freshman. I have a friend who's a freshman, and I swear I never swore that much when I was a freshman. Meh, I'll think of more later. Command the Murderous Chalices! Nom
Oh, I have another one. People who ask me, constantly, why I speak softly. Ok, I have had a hearing deficiency since I was born, and I wear hearing aids. You try walking around every day of your life with plugs in your ears, which both cause your own voice to seem louder inside your head (try it with your fingers) and magnify the volume of everything else. Now, quiet before I hit you with the big stick.
