Well, a few things.

Let's start with people trying to change the nature of science and it's conclusions, mostly by muddying the waters through misrepresentations, misconstructions or outright falsehoods and unsupported assertions.

Generally, people who just arn't curteous and friendly. I never understood it, what little effort does it take to say "excuse me" or "thankyou" or hold the door for someone quickly? Almost none, that's how much, and yet people don't even bother. I'm not asking for a song and dance because they're ecstatic and super happy, but general common manners and just treating people like people and not scum is all i'm after. The other day I got on the bus at 5:55, and it has to be 6pm to get an evening saver (which is ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1 cheaper and lets you catch buses all night using one ticket.) Because it was only 5 mins, the driver said "tell you what, pay for your ticket when you get off instead." It's incredibly rare that Travel West Midlands drivers are ever helpful or friendly, and it took very little effort for him to do that. It saved me a pound and put a smile on my face just for him to say a few words.

Now explain to me why people can't even be bothered to be friendly and curteous.

Laziness tbh.

Thats all it is, either that or they are inconsiderate jerks.

What I really hate is people who bag on the majority by focusing on the minority.

I.E. All rap is bad because it objectifies women, promotes Gang Violence and such.

Yeah, so you focus on some of the mainstream rap nowadays. How about we go back to the beginning of rap? It was started by Jamaicans, and was not offensive.

And people saying they hate something without good reason.

I.E. People saying (hmm lets say) Alexisonfire sucks without giving proper reason.

Adding to the whole "I couldn;t care less" to "I could care less" thing, what I really hate is when people say, for example, "The shielding made the reactor all but untouchable" to say that it was untouchable. They're really saying that it is not untouchable. It is everything else.

My internet acting as slow as it is now for no obvious reason (I have Verizon, you would think it would be fast...er). Seriously, this page took 3 minutes to load, will probably take three to get to the "your post has been submitted" page, and I'll probably accidentally double post. :wall: That also grind my gears.

You are aware Summoning was released today, aren't you?

Personally, there's one thing that irritates me above everything else - ignorance. When a person has a problem, they go to you for advice and then fail to heed that advice. When you try and explain something to someone and they just laugh and shrug you off. When it's clear I don't want to talk about something with someone, yet they carry on anyway as though I'll change my mind if tried talking a bit more. When it's clear you need help, yet everyone's so obsessed with their own menial affairs they couldn't care less to batter an eyelid at you.

That's annoys me to no end... in fact I'm getting annoyed writing about it... :wall:

I don't know what Summoning has to do with it, I haven't been logged into RS for a while now. But I see what you mean about ignorance.

Last weekish, I had a speaking test in German class. I was absent the day it was issued, and I was thus unable to choose my own partner, getting stuck with one of the slowest people in the class. We were going over the test..well, trying anyways. But she could never properly pronounce her part even when I repeated it correctly multiple times, even slowly. Here's a short sample:

Her: "Welche.."

Me: "No, it's pronounced "Velche"

Her: "Welche.."

M: "No, no, pronounced with a 'V'. Velche"

H:"Welche.."

M: :wall:

Yes, it is spelled with a w, but still...it isn't that hard....

I hate when people keep asking what I am getting in at school. It's honestly really annoying because i really don't like sharing my grades, but If I don't I look like I am a very bad student or something. I'm not failing anything, and I'm also not getting 120% in anything, why do you care? why can't you mind your own business? I hardly even know you, you're just some random douche bag that asks people what grades they get, and I have already been asked by a million other douche bags the same question. I'm just not the person that likes sharing his grades, probably because douche bags often tend to judge someones intelligence through their grades (hence the fact that they're douche bags). but usually just by someone asking me I have no choice.

1. People who say "what?" even though they heard what you said.

2. Teachers with favoritism that negatively affects your grade.

3. People who crowd in the middle of hallways.

4. People who hate others for no reason.

5. A recent one: people who support a candidate and don't even know why. A big example of this, at least in my school, is Obama. People are always saying "Obama's the greatest" and "I definitely support Obama.", but when I ask them the simplest of questions: "Why do you support him?" they have no clue. Conclusion: people are like sheep. :boohoo:

what grinds my gears is when people try to help you or say "i underdtand" but actully havent gone throguh those issues (personal grind)

in a more public notice:

1) people who think there better then you by popularity

2) people who think throwing food at others is consdered fun (morons imo)

3) poeple who close the door in front of you (happened at the local supermarket 5 minutes before the doors close, not 5 after.)

4) and another petty annoyance is 14yr olds and younger smoking at the public pool and on yuor left you'll see a 14yr old girl smoking and accepting cigarettes form this man who is clearly over 20...on your right..the swimming poolguide>.

+1,000. Whenever I have to do work with a partner, no matter who i end up with, they don't care and I end up doing the whole thing. The joke's on them, though. I don't put their name on it

And don't even get me started on "like". I use it as rarely as possible, even when it would be the correct usage.

Unless it was with a good friend, I don't think I've ever had a partner in a group project who was the responsible and punctual one instead of me. It drives me out of my mind when I have to do all the calling, planning, materials, etc. I hate working in groups as a result, I would much rather work alone and consequently do a much better job.

And I do use 'like' occasionally as a substitute for 'said.' Pure habit. I find the people who are like, this like, all the, like, time are also, like, extremely annoying.
