I really dont know. I would like it with the new detail, but i know some people cant use that as of now. I think sence we started this before the update, we should keep this one and make a new one next year. That what i think thoough.

Even though HD pics are for next year, would you still accept them?

 

At this point in time we are still trying to decide.

 

 

 

If we decide to mix them it would cause "many" to want to change theirs. This would be very confusing overall but it "can be done." It would look a little sloppy however. -.-

 

 

 

By keep it on low detail we keep the tradition and don't downplay the value of of F2p friends.

Ok, um two questions.

 

 

 

1) To get the old version, do I go to an f2p world?

 

2) How do I crop an image, kinda new to paint.

I'm for the option 'keep it as it is', not only because it will spare us some work, but also because some people don't like the new graphics and because f2pers can't get their hands on it.

 

 

 

Having a secondary picture could cause the other one to be neglected too.

 

 

 

That's why I choose for the option 'next year'.

 

 

 

We can't really keep it as it is, even if you aren't a member or have the posh graphics the character models have been changed, here is my free account - Jon Fierce:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Characters are now longer, slimmer, and with bigger heads! Anyone who gets an image of their character from today onwards will look different from the players who took their pictures before, as n_odie has said, it would look sloppy.

 

 

 

Everyone who has previously took a picture will have to redo it to the new character style.

I say please keep the high detail on hold until next year. Right now, f2pers don't have access to the high detail. Also, two pics wouldn't really be nice, and if we put all pics in one, the regular detail would look bad next to the high detail.

Thinking about what darkjab said, and we'll proabably have to redo it in the new high detail when it comes out for F2P due to the fact that the models themselves have changed a lot.

Definitely do not make a combined pic. My 1st choice would be to keep going with the old graphics. A HD version would be nice, but not necessary. It would also be more work. I will be happy to wait till next year for HD.

I'm in favor of using the updated graphics, at least for a second version of the picture anyway. With the new textures, outfits look cooler in general, so I'd be fine having the photo look cooler. One problem in my case though is the graphical glitches that haven't been fixed yet...mainly that my lovely blue bandana has been bleached and no longer matches the rest of my clothes! :cry:

 

 

 

So I suppose we should wait until next year. No idea what we should do this year, seeing as the character models have been changed and all. Kinda rains on our parade, huh?

I think we should keep old graphics. Not only will it create havoc for people who already submitted, but it would also create more work for you guys to put together. And a combined would be sloppy as stated in some posts before.

I'm afraid there is still a problem, even if we skip this year: low detail has changed as well, so the outfits will look different no matter what.

I say keep the old "low detail" for this year and make a new HD one next year.

This might not be a good idea it might be a bad one.

 

 

 

What about leaving the picture untill we know whats going on with the details, then IF it becomes f2p aswlel as p2p, restart, but allow people already on the current one to keep their positions.

You can have the old graphics completely back by choosing safe mode on your detail level. So it's possible of getting it back

 

 

 

I suggest waiting till next year for the new HD

Here is what I propose:

 

 

 

1.We get the picture caught up to date.

 

2.Postpone picture till beta stage is over.

 

3. Do ultra high detail for the real 2008 tip pic.

 

 

 

This will make the work a little more in the upcoming months (hopefully end of august) but will allow the picture to be clean and tidy. I have learned many things with the work done thus far so restarting with a new pic is not a big deal. (I am also moving Rl so a break for a couple months would be helpful).

 

 

 

The next version will be referred to as Pregraphic 2008 Tip pic or something along those lines as where the later will be a post-graphic version.

 

 

 

This is becasue the games overall graphics have been improved and I really want to keep ftp part of this decision.

 

 

 

This is not final and is open to discussion for the next couple days. :D

That ios probality the best thing to do N_Odie, i forgot that low detail got updates as well. So yeah, thast where i stand right now.

I say just put everything on the same picture, wether it be the old detail b4 the new graphics, or new graphics, or hd. It seems like simpler work to just put all of those together.
