Range_This11
I was born in 1989 so I hit the Nicktoons at their peak. Here are a few more I found. And this is a little new age, but I don't know why we haven't mentioned it! jessy87
this show really played a big role in my life. Six seasons... the original seasons before they got terrible. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_that after reading that article, I remember something that was great. The last segment of this episode paid tribute to the ending soundclip of the original seasons. As the room for the 10 year anniversary party was empty, Kenan and Kel stood sleeping in the costumes of their roles as old men. Kenan woke up and says "Hey, Clavis!, wake up, the show's over," and Kel responds with his signature, "Ah yeah, kick it". They then turn and slowly walk away as the screen fades to black in a dramatic yet subtle ending to the 10 year tribute. ^^^the last episode, the 10th anniversary closing episode. hellbellz
Who remembers the ol' ball pit in McDonalds? Being a kid in the 90's was great. We had the sickest cartoon shows, great movies, fun toys. The cartoons now-a-days have to be politcally correct, no fun in them at all, they're all pretty lame, my sister likes to watch these horrible, horrible shows. hellbellz
Haha, I watch Boomerang, and she watches it also. The cartoons from the mid 1900's were much better, if not better than the 90's, in my opinion. Oh, how I love the stereotypical cartoons with subtle jokes you wouldn't compeletely understand as a child. :P
evil_mumm_ra
oh my god. can someone say POGS!?!!?! i remember those. as well as all the tv shows mentioned in the first post, or at least most of them. pinky and the brain was my all-time favorite though. it was just so good. and nadril, i played cosmos too, that game was great. there was also a capture the flag game i used to play on dos all the time too, and one of the duke nukem games. as for the nes games i played, final fantasy (the original), dragon warrior 1-4, tetris, dr mario, super mario 1 and 3 (didn't like 2, still don't), snake rattle and roll, marble madness, as well as many others. the 90's were great. Kill_Thomas9
What was nice was that you could RUN windows with just 54mb of ram. Now you need at least 40x that to run vista smoothly. I LOVED angry beavers, but my mom wouldn't let me watch pokemon because she thought it was too violent. To think I started watching shows such SpongeBob for a year or two. I now realise how horrible it was when I compare it to shows like Pinky and the Brain and KENAN AND KEL!! Man I was obsessed with that show. And then for a while I became obsessed with orange soda... Yum... Except my mom wouldn't buy soda, so I had to go to my friend's house and take the 2L soda bottle out of the fridge. Ahh, the good old days... God, it was like Mountain Dew hyped up on speed -- so good. :P I remember it just sort of disappeared, probably lawsuits haha. and nadril, i played cosmos too, that game was great. there was also a capture the flag game i used to play on dos all the time too, and one of the duke nukem games. Nice :D. I had a ton of DOS game collections on a few different CD's. Was back when CD's were the next big thing, so I had thousands of "shareware" DOS games. tripsis
Yeah man, 90's Nick TV was awesome. I feel sorry for kids today, I really do. Agreed. We got the good shows and kids these days are stuck with half assed ideas that go nowhere fast. I actually can't stand watching most cartoons these days :( Agreed x2 :XD: Shows these days are just horrible.. at least in my opinion. As you said, deloriagod, they are half-assed and in result, they're not entertaining or humorous, etc. The 90s shows, which I grew up on as well, were fantastic. I used to watch Saturday morning cartoons every week (and some in between) and they were great! Those were classic shows right there. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

bloodyhatchetbear
I just remembered another great Nicktoon I used to watch growing up: The original Rugrats. Man I loved that show. It was just so funny. Looking back now, I wonder why they changed it. Of course, the new All Grown Up stuff that came out a couple years ago seems to have disappeared. adam_ross0
Heh, I was born in '93. Man, I miss the old Nickelodeon. Best Cartoons that were ever made..Doug, Catdog, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy..not to mention Kenan & Kel. Of course, Kenan went big. He's on SNL now. Now all they have is different cartoons that last for a month or so. I also remember the big Pokemon Craze..LOL! I was maybe anywhere from 5 - 7 then. To this day, I still have 400+ Pokemon Cards, all 4 original games, and all 3 from second series..Pokemon was great. I've even still got my old Gameboy Color. The 90's were great. Oh, and Nadril, I do remember Surge..it was like concentrated energy. Lol

All i can really remember of it is the crazy kid who never talked haha. Anyone watch a show, i'm not sure what it was called, but basically it was about a half cat and half dog, not sure what it was called, but one end was a cat, and the other end was a dog. I still watch Hey Arthur

Lionheart_0
wfEdysS7yG8 I come from the net... Definitely my favourite show of all time : It made me love computers even more. I would try and spend my time discussing with my dad what each character or other object meant to real life computers. I'd also have to say beast wars was pretty influential. I actually find that I like that more then any of the original Transformers (although I never knew about those until sometime later, lol they were from the 80's). I have a box full of Beast wars transformers ^.^. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you! IGoddessI
Speaking of nicktoons I'm on nickelodeon! Anyone remember nick takes over your school? That was like almost 10 years ago now!! Danqazmlp
Born in 90 here, so i remember so many of these I remember having pogs, and what they were, but what the hell were they for? wasn't there a game with them or something? I remember the furby craze aswell, i even still ahve mine in my sock drawer, no idea why its there, it broke about a week after i got it, but i never moved it from there. I remember every morning before school watching the smurfs and later the snorks, who were smurfs but underwater, and then after school the biker mice, those shark things (street sharks?) and hey arnold. I think i still have the toy of those shark things, it was a big brown one with glow in the dark teeth, i remember taking it under my bed covers the day i got it to see if its teeth were really glowy, they were! Me and my brother always had to have the power ranger toys too, i had a big box full of just power ranger toys, i had the megazord, then the green rangers thing that joined on, then the ninja power rangers i think they were called, the ones from the movie. Had all the toys pre-getting desperate and having power rangers (insert random word here) like on bikes and in cars etc lol. Can't fault my old megadrive too, spent so many hours playing micro machines or this flintstones game i had. Want to be my friend?
