New F2p quest!

Hmmm... F2P quest *cough*It will never happen*cough*...

 

 

 

Anyways, as now f2p CAN ALREADY HAVE 40 Quest points, 2 should do the trick. F2p deserves 2 higher-leveled quests. Now for rewards and critisism:

 

One-time 400 xp Pray boost for f2p- why not. Portal from Lumbridge swamp to island, from where you can go to about lvl 20 wild- cool. About the island itself. NO POINT FOR YEWS! The furnance is a little too close to the ores, near the portal perhaps? Kanoos... You'll have to think what these creatures will look like and how strong they should be. I think levels 73 and 70 are too close, they should be like 75 and 67, so they would be a little more different from each other. And the combat level won't say almost anything about them. The note... The note would be awesome for f2p, but still :shame: .P2p has Karamja diary gloves that grant 15 gp fee to Karamja, so f2p could NEVER-EVER have anything better (Jagex wouldn't just accept it that way). Other rewards are quite good and shouldn't be changed.

 

Quest itself could be a little more longer/harder as for its requirements it's too short and easy.

Great idea! Although few errors. Like the reward: It's an easy quest but with good rewards. It should be a bit harder, although i never think that jagex will make it.

As a long time F2P player, I think that F2P doesn't need anymore quests, nor will we get any more quests. We don't pay for benefits, so we don't get benefits. As for high level quests, the majority of F2P players are new players trying out the game, who are only about lv50 and under. Besides, if we were to get a new quest(Perm quest, unlike Jagex's temp F2P quest) the members would be outraged, based on what I've seen of members, they'd go on some hyped up rant on how we F2P are scum, maggots, etc and how we don't deserve such updates (regardless of whether we are already aware of this or not).

 

 

 

In short, I love the idea of F2P getting more stuff, but it's never going to happen.

why do you have yew trees there? What are they gonna do with them on the island and the portal is too far from a bank. Also expand on the dungeon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hmm... Maybe I will move the portal near a bank (the portal in lummy swamp). Also, I've been too busy to make the dungeon yet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ooo no no no.. this could be for people who want to power cut. i dont know of any group of yew trees that are far away from a bank where people could cut and not worry about low lvls trying to cut and bank. another reason is theres iron ores with a furnace... how easy would that be to mine, smelt, smith and bank if it was close. make people have to drop the stuff lol. and if the monsters drop good stuff it should be away from bank anyway.

- Totally for free trip to karamja:P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Maybe include the drops for the kanoo's

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- P2P can use portal to some place but not too close to a bank

great idea but instead of a free fair to karamanja how about a 15gp reduction so p2p could get there for free if they have the achevment diary gloves but otherwise great idea

for those who want and want free access to karamja, think about how much 30 gp really is, it is about 20 goblins killed, or 0.1% of the average f2players gold so whats the big deal

 

 

 

as for the bank being close, you could add a bank to the dungeon, and this could only be accessible by running through a big room of elite kanoos? (lv 102)?

 

 

 

also add some type of kanoo leader (lv 136) into the dungeon, which will come and attack you after each 100 kanoo elite you kill (you anger him by killing loads of his elite soldiers) this could solve the problem of f2p not having high level monsters to fight

in reality we actually do get alot of stuff... last couple updates i beleive was: pvp, non-perma quest, lumby diary (which completely made fishing worth it on f2p). a quest might not be all that great to give to f2p but something to help a skill actually be worth it on f2p would be great like they did with fishing

Since this idea for F2P/P2P has potential, I will support... :thumbsup:

 

 

 

BTW, definitely change the note to only cut 15 gp off the cost, and definitely have a bank at the back of the dungeon, along with a pathway that costs a few ores and/or some gp (About 500 gp and any one ore would be suitable for passage in both directions... There would also be the option of fighting your way across, which would give you the right to use the safe passage for just that time you fought your way across, but only going outbound from the bank.) to go around the load of monsters safely. (Helps to leave options for high-level skillers, in my opinion.) I'm glad to see that greater rewards for P2P were thought of in addition to stuff for F2P on this quest. :
