There is a new Pc game coming out soon that (hopefully) some of you have heard about called Spore. This is a sim game that has you create things and grow them.(through evolution) People all over can make creatures and eventually meet up with your creatures.

 

 

 

Now before this game arrives, the company has also released a "demo" creature creater. With this many people have begun making fabulous looking aliens.

 

How does this tie in with Runescape you ask? Well as I strolled through the sporopedia I typed in my favorite online game.

 

 

 

A few people have made some runescape-based monsters. I loved the thought of a civilization of turoths. Seeing these monsters invading a entire planet really made me chuckle. Anyway, I wanted to know what runescape monsters you guys think you could make.(a lot of explaining for that huh?)

 

If anyone has this would you try and make us some of them? It costs money to buy so I can't get it yet...

I heard the game will come out somewhere around september, but im not sure. But there is a demo with full creature collection that you can download somewhere. Might find it on Google.

I would prefer to make the Alien from the Alien series over those runescape creatures, but ok. Spore will definitly rock :

Which in itself is a paradox. How many four year olds would immediately think of making "sporn"? No, its normally the sixteen year olds that make stuff like that.

EA is banning accounts that create those types of creatures and upload them.

 

 

 

Edit: I'd also like to point out that EA is also actively banning accounts that upload creatures based on other media.

Wow, I guess I can't say I saw it coming. I half-expected some companies to get angry for the duplicates and then they would start removing them.(looks like they're a step ahead)

 

But there are millions of creature copies and I hope they can't ban it from the final product. (i really wanted a turoth army)

I have been following this game for over 2 years, it has so many delays its incredible. This game will most definitely be the next game I get for my computer, as I never buy computer games anymore. The thought of some more popular creatures from games, movies, books etc. is pretty exciting. From RuneScape alone you can copy The King Black Dragon, BarrelChest would be nice, Aviansies, the TzHaar, Warped Tortoise (which would just be creepy) amongst many others. Those are from RuneScape alone.

Those duplicates look really good, and I'm definitely buying the game. I don't see any reason for Jagex to take them down, it really just adds to their business.
