July 4, 200818 yr Whenever i play rs now, my fan kicks in hard core for some reason. Doesnt even do that for GW. Full screen runs flawlessly though, so its nice. I get the same thing. The whole game runs smoothly but afetr 5-10 minutes my fan goes spaz on me.

July 4, 200818 yr the graphics are a welcome to change and add textures to everything and its definitely nice to be able to see faces. and sparta the graphics may not be the best of mmo but the people who like runescape, for the most part, enjoy it and will keep playing. and if your gonna keep complaining about how bad it is either complain on rants or just stop playing and go to whatever mmo you think has the best gfx. i dont play any mmo's Then why are you posting on a RuneScape fan forum? #-o And the graphics may not be the best compared to other MMOs, but it's meant for compatibility. They want to make this new update available for the majority.

Everything's relative, and these are supergreat for Runescape, Great for an MMO (better than Knight Online, arguably better than WoW), and decent for a console game. Yeah yeah your FPS's blow it out of the water, but try playing an FPS for tens of DAYS of playtime. You can't.

Ok not better than knight online or WoW, and doesn't stand up to any current generation console game. Not to say they aren't gorgeous for a Java game. Previously known as Monkeybeast0.

July 8, 200818 yr The update is very impressive. Considering its still good old Javascript its friggin amazing. I'm excieted to get back into Runescape i needed something a bit fresh, and the rest of the July updates look great too. Not a huge fan of the item lending especially if theres market crashes involved but new bank is going to rock. July 9, 200817 yr Maybe now some of the WoW fanboys will now give it a chance and realise it's not so bad and the gameplay is much more in-depth. WoW Graphics : A- Runescape Graphics : B Wow Gameplay : A+ Runescape Gameplay : C- All of Runescape is a grindfest. Click on bow, Click on string, Click on bow, Click on string x 300. Yay a level. Click on ground. Click on monster. Click on monster. Click on monster. Click on spec bar. Click on monster. x 5000. Yay an attack level. Now do that 3 times and you have a combat level. Do that 126 times and you have maxed combat. Oh boy!! Now I can... oh wait... what can I do now that I'm maxed?... well... Start over? That opposed to talk to x person. Do x quest. Start exiting questline. Each quest takes between 5 and 30 minutes with no prep time. Do 15 quests, and you gain a level. Gain 70 levels, and you go on endgame raids with up to 20 people, each with 1 of 8 different classes, playing 1 of 8 races. Each class has dozens upon dozens of different abilities with different ranks, that improve your skill as you gain levels. Combine that with the different item types (Junk, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary) and you have yourself a great game. I AM NOT SAYING RUNESCAPE SUCKS. I am saying that for 3x the price, the gameplay is more involving, and there is endgame gameplay. I am not in any way saying runescape sucks.

WoW: B+ RS: B Gameplay, similarly Wow isn't that great either IMO. However, what RS definitely beats WoW in is the quests. RS: A+ WoW: C- All the WoW quests i've done are: "Collect X items" or "Kill X Monsters" providing very little substance.
