February 7, 200917 yr Yeah thats true, but it also makes it seem so simple. I appreciate the feedback. Is it bad that Valentine's is in a week, or should I consider that a "not my problem" type of situation? RPG: Thanks for the typical "grow a pair" response. Totally not helpful. Actually, RPG is making a good point, alot of the problems here can be solved by the person growing a pair. Try to take her somewhere on Valentine's Day, to a movie or something (you pay for her and let her choose.) So try to initiate something or you'll be stuck in the friend zone while be able to say that she is your girlfriend (though she isn't really when you look at it.) For all we know, she could be waiting for you to initiate some contact. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
February 8, 200917 yr I texted her for half an hour today... really like her :( Dammit Eric, get dumped already. Until she breaks up with him forget about her. Don't try interfering please...

While I myself wouldn't say "grow a pair", RPG and Sword still have a point about hugging her or giving her a kiss, otherwise she may start thinking the same thing as you are. Also if you do nothing for Valentines Day then then you might as well not be dating her, unless Sword and myself misinterprited what you said. February 9, 200917 yr [hide=My Situation a few pages back]I have posted this some time ago, but nevermind that. Here is the situation: I like this girl and we only have two classes together. One class im not even sure if we will have it the next semester which is coming up soon but ill ask her. I like her and i think that she likes me back. We make alot of eye contact in the hallways and stuff like she looks at me then i look at her and then she looks away... im pretty confident but im dont want to randomly ask her out somewhere when she doesnt expect it. I have chatted with her a couple of times and we had one really long one. The main problem is that i dont know really when to approach her or just start conversations. In the morning she is with her friends and they are all clustered together and in class it is difficult to hold up a conversation during a lecture. Im 15 yrs old btw just putting that out there. the only way i guess to chat with her more would be through a phone (i dont have her # yet but i will ask her) and facebook (which i dont even have an account for  ) So yeah... im gonna leave this out there and i would like some advice so far. I will post again with my progress but lately its been hard to chat with her because of midterms and we havent had class together in so long. i will probably make a facebook soon... so i can just chat to people and i plan on getting her # but again i just cant find a good time to talk to her... on a side note... if you are a highschool student and lets say make a facebook. do people find out and request to be ur friend or do u have to go on a spree to hunt down all your friends and ask them to be friends... i dont want to have like 5 friends lol but im sure i will have more because im pretty friendly with people.[/hide] So I still like her and I have took the following steps: Made a facebook > got over 150 friends the first days and i friended her and she friended me back. The first day though i didnt have much time to talk to her, but my second day in class after the exam, the teacher assigns us a project. Her friend wasnt there and the teacher sort of let us talk about the projects. She goes over my desk and sort of tells me to come to her... so me and her were pretty much just talking and she seemed to smile and laugh alot. Later on i chatted with her on facebook and we had a pretty interesting discussion going... so she laughs at my jokes which i dont think are too funny and she says that she looovvveeesss me. obviously its sarcastic but so far all the events > do u think she likes me back? i was surprised that out of all the people she wanted to come talk to me... I think that she knows i like her because she sort of catches me looking at her... =P~ how can i really tell if she likes me?
February 9, 200917 yr Ask one of her friends if she likes you, or go up to her yourself and tell her how you feel. My bet is that she does like you. And when the say "I love you" in that context", chances are she doesn't mean it. I have a friend who I talk to on the phone a lot, and she always says random stuff like "Na jokes, love you", and she has a boy friend. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
February 9, 200917 yr Haha, she had a lacrosse game right before mine. She stayed and watched mine and thank god I had the best game I've ever played. Texting her again now. February 9, 200917 yr Being friends is different from a friend zone. I have plenty of "friends" that I could probably date if they were interested, but that's the thing - the friend zone is the zone where a woman loses interest. I guess it's an exaggeration to say it's impossible to claw your way out, but it's beyond the means of many. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
February 9, 200917 yr Both my pieces of advice were shot down by the seekers of said advice. I'm feelin' the love. I stand by what i said to Runeman231. Especially since I got a few supporters in my statement. I wasn't merely saying "grow a pair". "Growing a pair" implies acting as a stereotypical hyped up boorish type fellow. I was saying that you should man up in that you need to take responsibility. As further explained by another poster, if your'e feeling that she's just a friend, chances are she's gonna feel the same. My advice is to avoid that if you want to keep your girlfriend. To do this you have to take responsibilty, and man up. I'm starting to feel IgoddessI 's frustration when people don't take the advice they ask for. and roccodog25...I'm confused. You want to be with this girl. and now you just want to be friends? And how close are you and your guy-friend exactly? Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. How can i explain to her that i dont like like her... if i just tell her im afraid we just wont be friends anymore... and that is probably the outcome of it...

February 9, 200917 yr Well hey guys. My first post in this section, Anyway on the Bus home from School, a girl that DOESN'T go to my School, asked me out. No big deal you say and laugh? I've had NO GF before, I'm sorta a geek, and she looks like one of those 'Party' girls. I mean shes from a Culture, I have a very little ammount of beef of in the Area I live in. On a scale of 1 being No way, and 10 Hell yeah, I'd give her a 5-6ish. There is a girl at school I'd go out with a secound, and she always winks and smiles and says 'Hi' etc, does she 'like' me back? So I'm sort of thinking a No, how would I say that? NOT to be rude or nothing, just want to give her NO OFFENSE at all, and say shes a nice girl and hope she can find a nice guy. Thanks for your time, I don't know who else to ask, my friends are just clueless. Thanks :) Current goal: Legends, Regicide, Roving Elf's, Barrows RFD, 95+ Attack.

February 9, 200917 yr How would I tell her 'no'. In a pleasent way then? I was thinking 'Well, I'm pretty new to *my city name here*, I think I'll leave it for now, though, I'm sure anther guy will go out with you :) Thanks anyway' Sound good? February 9, 200917 yr Eh... I don't normally do this kind of thing, but maybe someone can make sense of this. Last year a girl started talking to me a bit, and we became really good friends. We were hanging out multiple times per week at one point... Although she was sort of on and off dating another guy, as far as I could tell, although she told me multiple times that he wasn't the right guy for her. She then moved to another school, and also seemed to be dating the other guy for sure. We ended up not hanging out or talking very much for a while, but then a few weeks ago she told me that she missed me and wanted to hang out again. So, we hung out a few times in the last few weeks, but it felt like she just wanted to be a friend. However, last night at a party (neither of us were drunk btw :P ) I was talking with her for a a few hours... ending up walking her home, and then she kissed me. So... is she actually interested in me? Does kissing definitely mean that she is?? I don't know! :|

Wouldn't hurt to ask her though :P 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
February 9, 200917 yr Also the PA Guy Code states that I can't go out with her for atleast 2 weeks after they break up, so meh. That's rather ignorant. How about starting your own code called "asking how my best friend since the age of 4 feels about my decision before I make it because I care about them more than someone I barely know?" If you go ahead, you don't deserve a best friend. Take it from someone who's cousin has a baby with her ex boyfriend  The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
February 9, 200917 yr He could still have an attraction to her. By not asking him, you're pretty much not caring about how he feels, which may make him feel that you are to blame for the break-up. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
February 10, 200917 yr Why would he care, exactly? Once she breaks up with him... He'd care because she broke up with him, he didn't break up with her, implying that he still obviously has strong feelings for her if he didn't break up with her, give him at least 3 weeks or so. Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

I doubt she'll go out with me anyway, this is all hypothetical. Well she won't with that kind of attitude about it. I don't understand why you are against asking him.
February 10, 200917 yr Also, why are you so down on yourself, find out a few things she likes and bring them up randomly in conversation. Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
