Alright guys and dolls.. let's try and keep the spam down to a minimum.

Although some of you newbies to life might find it entertaining, please bear in mind that not many people are particularly interested in seeing 'YO MAMMA' jokes being thrown around again like it's 1999. Don't make me come back here ;)

  • Okay so I'm pretty confident at least 2 of you remember me and maybe .5 of you remember how my last post went. To recap, I went on the first date of my life and then a second one that went poorly.   T

I just remembered something, on the topic of wearing clothing to stand out a few pages back.

My stand was, have a specific style and stand out. A couple people's responses were, that's douche baggery.

Girls do the exact same thing. They show cleavage, wear glittery crap, and we respond to it. You can bet your boring t shirts that there is a plain looking girl in sweatpants and a huge shirt looking at the same girl you're ogling and thinking: "wow what a show off"

(Of course there could be guys here with high horse syndrome or that are used to settling that will insist they would prefer the plain looking girl because the other one must be a [bleep] )

Getting a life has actually put a damper on my dating lately. Not only am I set up to do stuff with friends after school, and do school stuff, and go apply at a couple of places in town for work, I'm going to Amarillo each of the next two weekends. This weekend to celebrate my best friend's birthday, the weekend after that to go to a bonfire with him and some others and celebrate him getting his license! Jesus. I need to slow down, because when I get back in town I still have plans. And homework. [cabbage].

I'm just gonna have to find some time, like two or three hours, and tell everyone else [bleep] YOU. Maybe Sunday right after church. I should be getting back around that time. I haven't been on a date in more than a week. Hanging out with my friends constantly isn't bad, but it can get tiring.

EDIT: My bad. I want it blue.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Storytime. I'm gonna be writing out my thoughts now, because I feel like i'm gonna explode, i'm pretty peeved off at the moment.

This first story is irrelevant as times have passed and I no longer care for her, but still learning this makes me angry. Let's call this girl K. K is going out with C. One of my best friends, M, is C's ex-girlfriend. So, I was talking to M and K came up. She asked me if I ever talked to K anymore. I told her very occasionally, M said the same thing, apparently K told her she feels awkward talking to M. I guess that K started going out with C secretly the same day of him breaking up with M (they had been together for over a year). M was pretty damn pissed off, and so was I, but for another reason as well. I liked K a lot over the summer and I had asked her out, she kept telling me she really like me and she hoped we could, once school started. But since she was secretly going out with C, I now know she was pretty much filling my head up with false hope out of pity for me. I've pretty much lost all respect for K for doing both of these two things.

Now, on to my current situation that makes me angry. My ex, let's call her H, shall we? Well, H broke up with me after a week and a half because it was "awkward". I was sad for about 2 days but then I was fine and we went back to being good friends. Now today, she was together pretty much all day with one of my good friends, who we shall call G. I talked to G today, and he said him and H started talking about 4 weeks ago alot, and she told G she really liked him. Now, 4 weeks ago, she was with her previous boyfriend, N. I also learned that she first liked me about that time. Soon after, she broke up with N, and after waiting a week, I asked her out. So she simultaneously told G and myself that she really liked us while she was with her previous ex. She then broke up with me and now, about a week later, is with G. So i'm extremely pissed off at her, I don't even want to speak to her. I told G of this situation, but he is acting really stupid and saying i'm making things up because i'm "jealous". Whatever, she's his problem, now, I told him to believe what he will, but I told him what happened. So, my current plan is to try and avoid talking to H for a few days until I can calm down, I hate yelling at people and I fear I'll explode at her for all this crap.

Wow, it feels a lot better to write stuff out, at least i've told it to someone. Now, if you followed all of that, I applaud you.

Holy crap, talk about a love... err, heptagon? I guess it's actually two different ones...

Either way, I had to draw a diagram. It really sucks for you, especially since you aren't at fault in either way, and it's just the people around you letting you down. I hope you still stay friends with G (Your guy friend).

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

G i'm not worried about, if H [bleep]s with him he'll get over it and talk to me. It's H i'm worried about, I'm getting sick of her and she's a really good friend of mine :?

Maleficus1055 I'm assuming you are young since you are still in school and the situation you just described is something that I can only imagine at a young age. Since you were really only going out for a short period of time I wouldn't say it was a huge betrayal. Perhaps she did like both your friend and you and wanted to test each of you out before making a decision on who to pursue a relationship with. It isn't terrible in my opinion for someone to date around and find the right person as long as they aren't leading you on to the idea that you will spend the rest of your lives together. So my advice is for you to decide which was more important to you the friendship with her or the relationship and depending on your choice decide how you want to deal with her in the future (In my experience I've always tried to keep the friendship). Either way I must say that was quite an interesting story I also had to draw a diagram to keep everyone together.

ow...that hurt my head....

that seems more like the plot to some cheesy sitcom or soap.... seriously. lol

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

Nah, just sounds like high school. I know of a situation almost exactly like that. :P

My vote goes to just chillaxing. Find another girl, just let your friends do what they want. Leave them alone for a week or so if you're all pissed at each other.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

I thought that was pretty easy to follow. I don't know what's wrong with the rest of the thread (just mentally replace letters with names to make it easier).

Anywho, it sounds like "H" stands for "[bleep]". If I were you, I'd avoid her for awhil until your lives drift into and your relationship becomes and awkward nothing. Feel free to notify any of her future boyfriends of her past exploits while your at it. Just to be mature :P.

Why?

I agree. No reason you aren't allowed to unless:

1] You only met the person because your friend was going out with them

2] Your friend just broke up with the person or they had a really serious relationship

But even #1 is acceptable in some cases.

I'm in high school too, heck I go to an Art's school. They're right to assume high school relationships won't work out because its true. Maybe 1 out of 20 couples will stay together after high school. That might be overdoing it, maybe 1 out of 35.
